It has an extremely recognizable shape and people have no trouble recommending the Sete 30, 270 and 270 Wi in each of their respective price brackets. But how do they actually stack up? I want to make it very clear that I purchased this grinder with my own money, and all of the opinions in this video are explicitly my own

 so I can comment on the entire product lineup. Starting off with the design and build quality, I was immediately struck by just how different this grinder is, both visually and form factor wise. Personally, I kind of like the unique looks, but I can definitely see them being a little divisive depending on the styling of the kitchen you plan to put it in. The countertop footprint is extremely compact, but then it sweeps up to a wider top section and perched on top of that is a 400 gram hopper

Why only 3/5 Stars? DISCLAIMER: I cheaped out and bought a Bambino which is directly affecting my review of this product. Ease of use 4 I didn't like the cheap feel of the open close lever, and I kinda wish I could measure and pour the grounds with better integration. Its fairly noisy although I know there are worse products out there. You do get consistency out of the beans which is a HUGE plus and this design allows you to waste less coffee than most if not all of the competition

Works great until it doesn't

The good: - It is a consistent grinder. - It is fine enough for our espresso machine (a Breville). - We grind about 15-20 times each day. (owner for 3 years)

 (Which I have done, successfully).  The bad: - noisy - static. But that depends a _lot_ on which coffee beans you use. For some, the grinds just float up with static

 For a few dollars more, these gearboxes could have been made of much more resilient materials. I refuse to continue to support this company and recommend that you consider whether you want to waste your money.

Found a local barely used Eureka Mignon Specialita for $250, super excited to upgrade from my hand-grinder Lido E. I loved my hand grinder for the last two years, but it's finally time to move on from hand grinding over 60g of beans every day.

Scored a crazy deal with an almost brand new Eureka Mignon Specialita on Facebook marketplace, my coffee/espresso journey is completed...for now.

First espresso setup was a Gaggia Classic and Rancillo Rocky. Upgraded and tweaked it as far as I feel like it could go before upgrading to the Decent DE1+ and Eureka Specialita.

What was your first machine?

I just pulled my first shot with Eureka Mignon Specialita + Gaggia Pro Classic after using shitty grinder for a while, and IT’S EYE OPENING. I’m very far away from sophisticated coffee snob, so couldn’t imagine that I could taste such a huge difference with the same type of coffee but only changing the grinder.

 3) Clean, minimal aesthetic for the those who love simplicity — especially in the matte black. Very understated. No unnecessary decor added; the buttons are tucked neatly on the side. The powder coated finish feels very premium

If you aren't too OCD about the mess and trapped grounds after each use, you'll be happy with the machine because the complaints are mostly mitigated by other features and/or the incredible price point. And the stepless grind adjustment makes this is an ideal entry level machine with lots of room to grow for someone really interested in learning to dial in shots. This machine is a great value

I am a little bit of a coffee snob, if you know what I mean. I brew my own filtered coffee all the time, mostly pour over, but occasionally I will brew a french press or aero. After spending much time learning about how to brew excellent coffee, I knew that having a good grinder can go a long way. I picked this grinder because it was in a price a could afford and had everything I was looking for in a grinder

 If there were two things I was not a fan of, the catch and release piece at the bottom of the hopper is a bit flimsy and looser than my liking, and while the stepless dial is nice, it can take some getting use to when your completely going off of taste and if you decide to do another brew that needs a different grind setting, it can be hard to remember the previous dial you set. But honestly it not the biggest deal. The grind quality is good, however visually, I do see more finer bits than I thought. ultimately though, taste should speak for it self
