The Dreo 42" Oscillating is a great all-around tower fan with the right combination of power and usability that makes it a clear winner. While most tower fans suffer from a lack of power, the Dreo managed one of the highest speeds in our lineup. It has four different operating modes and can be easily controlled by an app on your phone that monitors how much time is left on your timer and can read the temperature of your room and adjust accordingly. Its thinner profile makes for a design that's less of an eyesore in your home, and those shrill beeps from the controls can easily be turned off. This fan helpfully remembers all the last settings you used when turned back on again, making it easier to maintain your perfect indoor environment.
While the base itself is quite sturdy, this slender fan is more than a little wobbly on top. It never felt in danger of tipping over, but that much wobble is a concern for us. As you'd expect, its top speed is rather noisy, which may be a hindrance to your movie watching. And while we appreciate that the lights on the control panel turn off when not in use, they turn off so quickly that we sometimes didn't get a chance to see it properly before it went dark. Despite these few complaints, the Dreo is a great tower fan that offers a range of power and usability that most others don't.

Quiet  and Strong.  Wifi Is unreliable.

 Pretty disappointed in the fact that it's already making a ton of noise now. Pushing the fan slightly to one side seems to help the noise temporarily, but I can't do that and still have the thing oscillate. If you don't mind occasional what feels like knocking/grinding noises it's a great fan but it's currently really annoying for my office set up where I need to be able to hear my PC's audio.

 However, I left it on for 5 days while on vacation to make sure the room was cool for our cat, turned it off over night when we got back, turned it on the next day and whatever motor/mechanism is responsible for the fan's ability to turn side to side is making a ton of racket now. I've had the fan for a month and a week, running it for maybe 5 hours each day aside from the 5 days we were gone when it was running 24/7. Pretty disappointed in the fact that it's already making a ton of noise now.  I asked customer service a technical question, and they got back to me with a good answer in a day or two.  Overall, for $100, I'd buy this fan again. Very well designed, great functions, and well worth the money. A real value

 Be advised that the remote is a line-of-sight control device. The front face of the fan must be able to "see" the remote, when used. So it won't work behind closed doors, between floors, from the side/rear of the fan. So if you want full, unobstructed control, buy the WIFI unit

 I recorded 18 W at the lowest speed, and progressing up to 41 W at the highest speed setting.  Finally, the remote. Be advised that the remote is a line-of-sight control device. The front face of the fan must be able to "see" the remote, when used

 I like the room very dark when I sleep and a little digital display can be really bright. And you can switch it to a quiet mode so it doesn't beep when you operate the fan and change the settings.  Overall, just a great fan design. Very happy! I might buy another one (or two 😬) so I can have one in multiple rooms!

 Otherwise, it was easy to integrate with Alexa.  My only gripe is I wish the remote had a backlight for nighttime if you don’t want to make noise with voice commands.  Otherwise, I’m very happy with this fan, and I hope it lasts a long time.
