 So this light is not an indicator light, it doesn't tell you when the waffles are done, it simply tells you when the machine is on and plugged in. So right now it is heating up, it says it takes about 3-5 minutes to heat, so I'm going to time it and see how long before we put our batter in. So this is the Mickey waffle straight out of the waffle maker, so the bottom is on the bottom of the plate, and the top of the waffle maker where we closed it down is on the top, but I'd recommend going ahead and flipping it, because it's a much better looking Mickey on the bottom

1) The waffles cook so quickly, and it makes 6 at a time, so it’s great for feeding a lot of people (big families or guests).

2) The waffles cook well - they come out soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and there are a variety of settings to choose from depending on how well-done you like them.

My little boy wanted this waffle iron so badly, to make his gluten-free waffles taste like the glorious Mickey-shaped ones he’d had in Disney. He was jumping for joy when it arrived! Overall, he loves it and we don’t regret the purchase, but here are a few pros and cons to consider.

Pros: cooks evenly, can make 6 waffles (albeit not full sided) at a time, SUPER easy to clean.

 The waffles did not stick at all. I did use GoldenMalted's grid conditioner before cooking; so I don't know how much different the non-stick performance would be with out it, but I suspect it would still be decent. Overall, a good purchase. No regrets here

Being able to make six waffles at one time is a major plus to this product. The only issue I had when using is it wasn’t 100% non stick but we just sprayed it down with cooking spray and it was good to go.

It was super easy to get started with the detailed instructions packet & they even included a waffle recipe.
