Dell S2721DGF
The Dell S2721DGF is a 27 inch, 1440p monitor gaming monitor with a fast refresh rate and great gaming features. The IPS panel delivers wide viewing angles, and it has excellent ergonomics. It has a remarkable response time at the max refresh rate, with very little blur behind fast-moving objects, and it has a fantastic low input lag for responsive gaming and desktop experience

Finally built my first PC, after 15+ years on console
It cost enough without spending more on RGB parts, plus it is tucked under my desk so no one will see it!. Very happy with the performance so far. Playing games at 165hz is absolutely glorious compared to 30/60 on console.

[Monitor] LG 27GN850-B 1440p 144hz - UltraGear 27" Nano IPS LED FreeSync and G-SYNC Compatable Monitor with HDR - $399
Very good deal, but I would very much recommend the Dell S2721DGF if it was around the same price, if not these are better. I've had 2 units of this monitor and returned it because of what I considered to be unacceptable bleed to the point it's noticeable outside of dark scenes. After that I just settled with the 2721DGF which uses the same panel as the LG monitors but done slightly better in almost every way and 165hz might be a nice in-between for 144 and 240hz. Otherwise, if you aren't picky about the little things this monitor is a very good deal for the price, and I think it's the lowest i've ever seen on the model.
[Monitor] Gigabyte G34WQC 34” 3440x1440 144hz curved VA - $300 (restocked, sold by newegg)
Coming from the DELL S2721DGF, the smearing is VERY noticeable and distracting. Tweaking with the settings while running UFO test *does* improve it, but still noticeable.
[MONITOR] ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ 27" 2560 x 1440 WQHD 2K Resolution 165Hz 1ms 2xHDMI DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync G-SYNC Compatible Asus Eye Care with Ultra Low-Blue Light & Flicker-Free IPS HDR10 Gaming Monitor $339.99 (399-60) Code is EMC2Z2AZ6A5Z24
This is a great monitor. Comparable to the Dell S2721DGF from my use of both.

Dell S2721DGF Review - WORK Hard, PLAY Hard
In conclusion, what do i think of the dell s2721 dgf? Is it a good monitor and is it worth spending 500 or 50 more than the lg? Well, it's definitely a fantastic monitor. I get that it's focused isn't solely on gaming, but a mixture of working gaming, and it does those very well with whatever you throw at it.

[Monitor] Gigabyte M27Q 1440p 170 Hz 0.5ms - $309.99
I bought this and have had it for around 5 days and haven't noticed any issues with text, light graphic design work, gaming, etc. I also always use Cleartype since it came out on Windows as well, which is one piece of advice that maybe others don't do normally.
Must Have!
Bought one a month earlier and was a little bit cheaper. I couldn't be happier with this monitor. It came with 0 imperfections, no dead pixel, no broken parts. If you are concern that it will break during the shipping, dont worry about it, its very well packed. Mine got send to over seas and it came...
