Best of the best.
I've seen curved monitors and I was never really impressed. The curve always seemed pretty basic. On here it really feels like it wraps the world around you. The first thing I noticed when I turned it on was the color. Holy cow it's perfect. Everything on here looks way better than any other monitor...

The 5 Best G-SYNC Monitors - Spring 2022
If you find the LG 34GP950G-B too expensive, check out the Dell Alienware AW3420DW instead. It's also a 34 inch model with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio, but it has a lower maximum refresh rate, and motion isn't as smooth. It still delivers a great gaming experience, with a fast res...

Having owned an AW3420DW, then a XG27UQ and now finally a 38gl950g, i can safely say that this is truly my endgame, feels great to be back!
Ah man I’ve got the AW3420DW absolutely love it! But glad you finally found one that’s perfect for ya!
Anyways, the IPS glow in a pitch black room is definitely more than acceptable on the dell. You would need to be the most OCD person in the world to not be happy with the unit. The LG has better specs on paper (HDR, much brighter screen, 24 more hz refresh rate), but the freesync is definitely not as smooth as the gsync found on the aw3420dw.
Alienware 34 Curved Gaming Monitor (AW3420DW) Review
Hitting processed frame rates of around 300 frames per second (fps), the monitor showed some vertical-sync issues when I turned my character around very quickly. Even capping the game’s frame rate at the monitor’s native refresh rate of 120Hz (easily achievable with our testbed's GeForce RTX 2060 card) did little to reduce the tearing.

Loving the Alienware 3420DW! Well worth it, best screen I’ve ever used.
I just had my AW3418DW replaced via warranty through dell and they sent me the AW3420DW :) . The picture on the AW3420DW > AW3418DW 100%
Amazing monitor and I wish I could give it 5 stars
I purchased this monitor on cyber monday for $849. Coming from a 144hz 1080p (HP Omen) monitor I was a bit skeptical about 2 things. 1, that even with an i9 and 2080ti I would not be able to push 120fps consistently in most games. I run games on medium to high settings and have been able to get 120f...

AW3420DW Arriving Tomorrow - Any hints or tips?
Also, when the monitor goes to sleep, it doesn't wake automatically when you turn your computer on, so you will need to press the power or one of the menu buttons to wake it. Minor inconveniences really, but it would have been nice to know before finding out for myself. All that being said, it is a gorgeous monitor and I am in love with it. I will be wall mounting it shortly, but the stand looks great and it very solid.

Alienware's NEW 34" 120Hz Ultrawide! Perfect for Gaming and Content: AW3420DW Review
But if you're running anything really intensive, like any triple-a games, good luck, pushing all five million pixels, like I said, you're better off just turn the resolution down just a little bit. That way, you get the best performance while gaming, and then you get your sharpness and your color accuracy, while you're editing your photos and videos and whatever else you'd like to do professionally at the end of the day, this kind of product is really great for enthusiasts.

LG 34GN850 different colors/ grey whites
However, if your monitor already has bad uniformity to begin with (e.g. part of the screen has a tint and another part doesn't), it won't help much - you would still notice the difference. P.S. That was my reason for ordering Dell aw3420dw after going through 4 LG 34GN850 - neither of them had good uniformity.
