I basically can’t put the sheath on my person at all because it just flops around in my pocket and it is impractical as a neck knife. Until I find a decent way to actually carry the thing I’m only giving it 3 stars. Up your sheath game, Jfc.

But who cares about all this gibberish talk. Let's get down to the pros and cons of this knife. Pros: -sturdy, and one peice, could probably take a few .22 rounds and still hold up

The knife is good. Sharpness isnt the best out of the box but if you're into knives sharpness is something you can fix easily. Plastic scales with brick like texturing. Its a $17 knife, you get the material you pay for but in all the knife is really good for the money

The knife is sharp however it is not razor sharp and the angle of the cutting edge is different on both sides. It could be fixed with some serious sharpening but i am very disappointed with Kabar for doing such a horrible job with the blade. Other than the blade, you can't go wrong for the price and it gets any small job done such as cutting rope, whittling, carving, cutting food ETC.

What I'm *really* looking for is a 3.25-3.5" skeleton or otherwise very thin handled, Scandi grind neck knife with a sheath that will NOT let the knife fall out in the field under hard hunting/bushcraft/emergency conditions, that sells for around 40 bucks.

I'm extremely hard on my tools. I was a little hesitant in purchasing this knife at first because for the price, I wasn't sure if it could stand up to the abuse I was going to put it through. I don't believe I've come close to damaging it and I've put it through quite a bit.
