CIVIVI Elementum

Was gifted a Civivi Elementum as a late birthday present and it is by far my favorite knife. It’s super smooth opening and pretty sturdy thus far.

Overall if i were you i’d start with a Civivi Elementum basic D2 model for $50 and see how you like a solid EDC knife. That’s a knife that could easily last you the rest of your life and could even be passed down to your kids with proper care and maintenance. If your budget is a bit bigger i’d look into the WE Kitefin, very similar knife with some upgrades.

Best “bang for your buck” would be the Civivi Elementum. You can also find versions of the Elementum with upgraded blade steel and micarta scales. The Pilar would be choice (out of these three) for a hard use / beater knife. The Bugout would be more of an EDC that doesn’t see much actual use aside from opening Amazon boxes or cutting the occasional apple, even if it gets a lot of pocket time.
