Today I received an exceptional upgrade from an old Melitta Espresso machine to a Calphalon Temp IQ. I purchased it from Facebook marketplace, but brand new for $100. I also purchased a bottomless filter to go with it.

I have had a Calphalon Temp IQ with grinder for about a week (399$ from Costco), after my La Pavoni died. I bought it from Costco because I know I could just return it at any time (sorry Costco), but now that I've had it, I've kinda fallen in love. The thing is I have a Gaggia Classic Pro and sette 270Wwi refuirb on the way to me, and I'm worried now that I shouldve just stuck with the Calphalon. I think it's awesome that the machine takes no time whatsoever to heat up, and I am making real capuccinos with the machine using the built-in grinder.
