So again, the Vibram outsoles, they last a lot longer, give you better traction without losing board feel too.

Thanks again everyone. This is now my third day trying the Burton step-ons and so far I'm really digging them.

And then finally in terms of their compatibility with other snowboards, well you won't have any issues.

But overall, I'm very impressed with Burton Boots with the Step-Ons system.

Great set-up! Be sure to keep your receipt for your Burton Step-On’s though, I’ve had to send mine in for repair twice due to the toe hooks wearing out.

I'm a ski patroller (need more snowboarders so we can change the name) and snowboard instructor and am set on buying the Burton Step Ons for speed/ease of use. I purchased a Men’s 2022 ProtoUltra Snowboard, 8/10 stiffness, Ultra All Mountain Twin board. I ride Midwest groomers and enjoy big carving, sometimes hitting the park and jumps on my snowboard instructor days freeriding.

It all boils down to Stiffness, with a slight nod to 'Shock Absorption' in the bindings. Burton Step On X (base model).

I have Union Atlas’, I’m old now though and I love my Burton Step On’s. Plenty responsive and the convenience.

Graduating from my noobie gear after about 20 days of riding last season. Had a 156 Rome rocker/flat/rocker board with a medium flex. I spent those 20 days in size 10 boots for a size 9 foot, so I was dealing with a lot of heal lift and my toes were curling to push onto toe side. I picked up Burton Photons + Step On Genesis and they fit awesome, so that problem is solved.
