Howdy all. Just picked up a pair of 2021 Vans Infuse and had a good chat with the worker at the board shop.

Vans Infuse fit me really well. Can be quite stiff with the tongue stiffeners all in. Very high quality boots with nice details and comfort.

These are cheaper than most double boa/speedlacing system shoes and the laces just make it a more comfortable boot. I’m currently riding Vans Infuse with a boa for the ankle a strong strap for the top end and laces. These boots fit like a glove.

I personally ride Vans Infuse ($420), and they’re boots that can do anything. 5-9/10 Stiffness, as they have removable tongue stifeners so you can dial in the response you need. Can switch it up freestyle/park and freeride/carving all in 1 boot. The Boa is a there for heel hold, while traditional laces lets your customize exactly how tight you want your boots to be.

Closest was Vans Infuse but I really can't deal with how heavy that boot is and all the excess tech. Vans also has pretty shitty manufacturing in my experience, like always having outsoles that are misaligned and glued, or the cuff having an odd angle on one boot.
