Review: Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms Dive Watch Is a True Original
Without a doubt, the most popular style of traditional watch on the market is the dive watch. With their rugged builds, versatile good looks, and timeless style, dive watches tick a lot of boxes for enthusiasts and casual wearers alike. But the dive watch as we know it today wouldn’t exist were it n...

[diver] Which diver tops the Submariner?
I prefer the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms as the original dive watch. Gotta give it points for that, and of course the build quality is on another level compared to the Rolex.

[Blancpain vs Glashütte] 2 amazing watches but only 1 choice... the struggle is real.
GO by a mile. The Fifty Fathoms has a great story, but speaking personally I’ve never found the dial all that attractive — to me there’s so much blank space and the hour markers / pips seem disproportionately small. But hey, it’s a legend and I’m not in the market for one, so my take shouldn’t be worth too much.

[Blancpain Fifty Fathoms] Don't see this here that often and picked one up recently!
Most ADs are located inside big malls, and people are lining up at 6 am to put their name down on a waiting list to go inside the AD. (Crazy, I know) and gets packed, so unless you had your name down, you can't enter the store... So I gave up on getting a Sub and decided to pick up the Fifty Fathoms. I've always wanted to own this watch and plan on getting it, but the timetable ended up moving up.

This one's awesome! Never gets wrist time though. Blancpain Fifty Fathoms MIL-SPEC - Liking the clear case back and the movement is somewhat entertaining to look at, swishing the rotor around.
[Blancpain] Fifty Fathoms Barakuda
Bought this Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Barakuda a few month ago and absolutely love it. It has unlike most other fifty fathoms a very wearable size of 40mm for me, limited to 500 pieces, dual barrel, 100 hr of powerreserve, antimagentic, saphire bezel& glas and adjusted to 6 positions. The movement is very beautiful with nicely chamfered edges, black polished screws and perlage.

Owner Review: Blancpain Fifty Fathoms – The mother of diving watches
The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms can be referred to as the mother of diving watches. Even though it is not the first waterproof watch that has been developed and used to dive, that can be attributed to the Omega Marine in 1936, the Fifty fathoms is the first that featured a rotating bezel to help scuba d...

[SOTC] 2020 sucked in a lot of ways, but it was a good watch year for me
* Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Barakuda. I'm going to take it relatively easy in 2021. I'm looking to sell the Nomos. I just didn't take to it; feels too light and flimsy (although I'm sure it's well constructed and all).

[Blancpain] Fifty-Fathoms at the beach
I debated whether I should wear the Fifty-Fathoms on this beach vacation because I didn’t want to trash the watch and the strap. But after a couple of days in the pool, ocean, hot tub, smothered with sunscreen, and after my 4-year old daughter threw up her edamame at a Japanese steakhouse on me, it’s looking like new!.

2018 i started getting into diving and, as the Travel Time wasn’t friendly there, got the **Blancpain Tribute to Fifty Fathoms MIL-SPEC**. First saw the Fifty Fathoms 45mm in passing while i was looking at divers.
