The 1.5" strap sold separately is better for smaller capacity slings (I actually use this on my Bellroy Venture Sling). The multiple loops on the back and sides of the bag are very welcome as this bag unofficially supports multiple carry modes. [Note the symmetrical loops opposite of where the strap is Inverting the standard attachment locations allow wearing the bag in portrait mode (similar to Aer Travel Sling 2 look + attachment points).

I got my Bellroy Venture sling in last week, and as my very first crossbody bag that's not an oversized messenger bag...I am very excited! I went with the copper color as I am trying to be a bit more fashion forward lately, and the color just really caught my eye. It is very nice in person, and the strap color is also very nice as well...brown with a hint of red/maroon to it. The quality of the bag feels amazing.

I've personally been using the Bellroy Venture Sling since it came out. I used to only use smaller slings but i've come to realize I tend to enjoy carrying around a bunch of junk I'll only need 1 out of every 10 times I leave my house + other stuff I may grab along the way. This could totally change in a month but as for now it's the perfect bag for me, though I had to change the cheap tiny front pocket zipper with one I made from paracord.
