 You definitely need the turner and what i'll do is i'll i'll? Take the whole pizza kind of move it to one side and then about every 10 seconds, i'm going to rotate it and work it bring in this case from left to right all right. So, as you can see, i'll just rotate it and you can always look underneath it and see how it's doing, but you can see it start to puff up. You can tell how brown evenly brown the crust is and again every five to ten seconds i'll rotate. It a little bit more and when i get to this side i'll wait another five or ten seconds i'll slide the whole pizza over and continue to rotate it

 I, like it, it's a good, solid piece of gear, so if christmas is coming and your loved one needs something special, i recommend the baker stone. So good piece of gear see you next time. 

 If you've got a topper on it, like that's flush with the top of the truck bed, it will fit nicely under there, so it moves really easy and so far i can tell you: we've had it on about 15, almost 20 minutes. So, let's take a look and see how hot we're getting okay, we're already up to about 6, 20 or so right so 15 to 20 minutes we're up to about 620 degrees. It says it'll get up to 700 or 800 degrees and we have seen that so the first thing we're going to make now, if you haven't made pizzas before i'd, suggest you give this a try or if you just like non-bread you can you can make this? The other thing we got was the the accessory kit and the reason i like the accessory kit, two reasons it comes with the peel. It comes with the turner and it comes with a cutter

Bakerstone Pizza Oven Review

 I got the BBQ to 500 degrees with the lid CLOSED (and figured the Bakerstone would add 200 degrees - which I read somewhere in the comments...

 I doubt that I was at 700 degrees and it took about 7-10 minutes to completely cook the artisan-style pizza. A second one was cooked with the BBQ lid closed (opened occasionally to turn the pizza) and the results were better - a bit of a char - and a few minutes sooner. Overall a good pizza - better than in a very hot oven?? Not so sure. I will keep experimenting with different dough recipes as well as store bought dough

I have a 3-burner BBQ and it fits perfectly and completely on the grates (almost like it was made for that particular BBQ) so I assumed it would heat well and completely. The IR thermometer I ordered from Amazon did not work (!) so I had to go by the gauge on the BBQ and the BakerStone.  Okay this is supposed to fit most three burner grills this is a four burner grill but you're going to want to do some measuring because my four burner grill is too narrow or not deep enough actually to accommodate this Baker Stove it should fit inside this lip right here and actually have a little bit of a lip or a space in there and this is just too big for this grill. This is I want to say 17 inches front to back so you got to have a grill that's at least 18 or 19 inches deep. Because my grill is old and the burners aren't burning at full capacity that you would like them to I have to close the lid on this in order to keep enough heat in there for this to heat up otherwise it just doesn't get hot enough. That really is hot in there as I would like it so I think I'm gonna let it go just a little bit more. I'd like to get closer to 500 clean up is gonna be pretty simple I've made four pizzas and two batches of breadsticks in there and what you're looking at is really just some kind of well it's the cornmeal that I put in there to keep it from sticking and that brushes right out and so as long as you're careful with what you put in there cleanup will be super easy

 all right today I'm going to be doing a review on the Baker Stone pizza oven this guy is supposed to fit right on top of your grill you get her up to tent and it's going to make some nice pizzas okay here's a shot of the unit I'm finishing up the installation which couldn't be simpler just follow the instructions the only thing you really got to pay attention to is making sure you get the front and the back edges of these top and bottom blocks incorrectly the bottom block is going to fit flush underneath here as you see and then it's going to leave a nice big gap in the back and that's for heat to get in through the back and then you know curl back up onto the top of the unit make more sense when I flip it over and then I just have to put on these guys right here to hold the bottom in and I'm pretty much done. You can store it in when you're not using it it's got a couple slits on the side for the handle to poke through this is kind of handy because you're probably going to be storing this in your garage and yeah not always the best place for food for preparing items. This is a fun device to add to your grill arsenal.  It arrived in a really sturdy box with excellent packing material.  Assembly was easy, although you do need to pay some attention to which way you put the stones in as they only go one way and you will not want to try to pull them apart.

Like many others, I had a difficult time getting this up to temperature.  I have an older grill that just doesn't throw the heat like this oven needs to make pizza properly.  I partially closed the lid, and that helped it get up to nearly 500 degrees, but I would have liked it hotter.    My grill was also not quite deep enough, even though it is a full size four burner.  You will want to measure your grill before making this purchase.

I did get nicely cooked pizza and bread sticks when it finally got up to temp.  I think I would have even better results if I had a newer grill that provided the heat needed to make this really work correctly.  I am not sure I get better results than making it in the oven, but it is more fun to do it this way and it doesn't heat the house up in the summer.

It does make a pretty small pizza.  You will be making one for each person eating, but that is ok, since most people want different stuff on their pie anyway.

well I’m not going to force metal on stone so I disassembled it and took a look. The thermometer metal probe is too long and doesn’t provide enough clearance to put the final support bars in! Genius work guys. Of course the stone plate is now scratched as it was resting on the probe. Either I received a prototype or open box or something but this is just poor design and engineered with massive tolerances for error

 I do hope I am contacted back by the company so they can explain what is going wrong here.

Updating Review 9/18: Customer service got back to me and after some lengthy discussions we "hacked" the thermometer probe to allow for a proper seat of the stone. I haven't used it yet but their customer service has turned me around on the company as a whole. Time will tell if usage lives up to the expectations.

Trust if there’s a slight breeze outside and your cooking with your lid open this thing will never reach temp, and if it does be prepared to switch out your propane tank….

Must of the other products that are out there generate their own heat so it’s easier to get up 600-800 degrees and maintain that temp as well.

This product has a hard time maintaining temperature and unless you have a few extra propane tanks laying around its gonna waste a lot propane.

This product sucks!!!

 I think I saw that it'll increase the grill temp by about 200 degrees, so you'll need a grill that can get up to 450 - 500 degrees to generate really hot pizza temps. Ambient temps can affect this oven. The first time I used it, it was a little cool and windy here, so my grill only got up to about 400 degrees. But that worked well enough that we had great pizzas for a little party we were holding
