If you don't care about a bad (VGA) webcam, check out the Asus ZenBook 13 UX331UN ( Pretty decent hardware, looks good, runns smooth, pretty "cheap".

Microsoft Windows 11 Plan
Using windows 11 dev right now on my asus zenbook and it's not too bad. It's a bit hard to get used to the new layout but overall I haven't had any big issues. Gaming is okay too with some of the older/lower end games.

Great product. Amazing performance till now.
Amazing laptop. Thank god I chose this pc over dell xps 13. I see lot of people complaining about trackpad on 14 inch model but it is pefect on this model. If you are looking for portable, fast performance, and great specs. This is for you.

No ISO and that's lame... Asus Zenbook lineup (13/14) : design is ok, nice options (screen pad or finger print scanner), but the keyboard is a problem for me. Seems like the only layout available is the ANSI one (with small Return key), plus the power button being just above the backspace key (as another key) is an nonsense for me.
Asus ZenBook 13 OLED review: dazzling, to a point
For $1,000, the ZenBook 13 OLED is an impressive package.

Verdict - AMD or Intel?
The Asus ZenBook 13 is a great laptop both in the Intel and AMD versions, where the positive aspects outweigh the negative ones.
ASUS ZenBook S 13 OLED Full Review
but this is still an incredibly well-rounded machine mostly thanks to that screen, the nice chassis, the long battery life, and while the Cpu games are fairly incremental, the integrated graphics are a big step up. As I say though, I just wish we had that 90 hertz refresh rate.

Ask HN: Ultrabook with linux
I bought an Asus Zenbook Prime about a year ago. Been running Ubuntu 12.04, then 13.04, now 13.10 on it with basically no issues. Multi-monitor, bluetooth devices, wireless keyboard/mouse, the whole thing.
I have a software licence key on a small GoodRam USB stick - I had to use pliers to remove it from the slot. **Overall** \- I am very, very happy. For the price it is absolutely awesome machine with very high quality build.
