 a couple other things here because I don't have enough on my actual motherboard. So a couple different things that I wanted with this that that that this actually meant one of the 32-inch I Noticed that all of these for the most part are 91 to 93 PPI pixels per inch, so they're all kind of comparable in that regard. I did want a high Hertz I wanted something 144 or higher with that. This actually fit that bill, but it has free sync and not G sync

 So I wanted something that was gonna be one millisecond response time just like my monitor here. Now this is a VA panel compared to my IPS here. but I don't view my monitor at odd angles so I know that's one of the downsides with it. In terms of color, let's pull up another game here just to see what it does

 I shouldn't experience any tearing or anything like that. any lag this actually is if I remember correctly, this is a one millisecond response time to some of the other ones that I was looking at. They ended up having like a five six. one even had an eight millisecond response time

 144Hz refresh is a positive, though ghosting was evident on a black or dark blue background with lighter object movement. Overdrive could not correct for this, but it's to be expected at some level on a VA monitor. It's not a deal breaker by any means. Menu options were good, including a black-boost that went from 0 to 10, by default set on 5, that did a good job of elevating some of the darker shades that blended together (black crush

VA static interlacing artifacts at this size/resolution - more pronounced than other 32" VA monitors

 So just so we can see, um, the difference the curve on the screen makes. This is just a standard 32 inch Tv that I have and you can see it's pretty much dead straight and this is the Acer monitor. You can definitely see the curve on that and quite a bit of difference. Obviously, I've tried to line these up as straight as possible and you can see just the difference there

 Color bleeding around black font when on white back ground. Saying this has a 1ms response time is misleading. Very visible ghosting even when you turn on extreme. HDR just means gray everything out

So so monitor.  Response time misleading. Better options for gaming out there.

I have been looking for a good size 1440p display and leaning more towards the curve side of the displays. It was quite hard until I found this big size. I never really done any productivity on anything bigger than a 25" ultra wide. This checks a lot of boxes, if you want a big 1440p gaming display
