1Zpresso Q2 Manual Coffee Grinder

I have the 1zpresso q2. It’s a great quality grinder and also fits inside the plunger of the aeropress for travelling which is really handy!

This is a good solid grinder if you stick to only one type of brewing (it grinds fine grounds for aeropress, for example), but if you toggle from one type of brew to another (say cold brew or french press), good luck figuring the dial out. Grinding becomes a frustrating, not a calming morning ritual...

The 1Zpresso Q2 is small enough to fit inside an Aeropress, is really well made, will last forever and costs about $100.

Just received mine today, weight was heavier than expected and build quality felt good. Opening it up to look, everything looked fine on the outside, but upon opening up the grounds receiver, i noticed some very deep dents on the bottom of the body. It's kind of hard to recommend a hand grinder as we don't know what you are looking for in a grinder.

If it's just the Aeropress,. I suggest the C2/C3 or the 1Zpresso Q2.

I'm using a 1zpresso Q2 and it grinds 14 grams for a moka pot in 30 seconds.

Also I don't think that it is worth it to jump from a moka pot to a wacaco nanporesso.

If you have a grinder with ceramic burrs, this will be an automatic improvement over what you have. Look at the 1zpresso Q2 - their site shows it fits inside the AeroPress plunger. At $99, it’s slightly more expensive than the C2, but I say it’s worth it. I’ve had my 1zpresso JX for a little under a year and I love it. The thing is built solid and has some heft to it.
