TP-Link Archer AC1200 vs TP-Link EAP235-Wall

Pay CLOSE attention to this unit, how it works, and what it does before you buy it!! 1) Omada interface / controller - as normal, great concept but total trash to implement. I de-registered the software, wiped the initial setup and started over rather than trying to mess with it (its only good for multipoint administration from a central location IMHO) - IE: I did the stand alone fallback mode through a web interface and fixed the problem (much simpler setup) 2) NOT a true "wireless mesh" unit. Only some (mostly omada) wireless networks will work with this thing. My "netgear" router and this unit would not work together for a wireless AP setup

making sure that you have the best signal to the router as possible. One this I would enjoy better with this producf is more security features to prevent possible malware and possible cyberattacks. Going over the security features on the TP-Link Tether app, there is not much options for protection from those things. Although, setting up an effective password and frequently monitoring the activities on the mobile app should make it easy to protect your home wifi

The ReoLink cameras support 5G and 2.4G WiFi (not simultaneously), but yet again, the signal continues to disappoint. This is still a pretty cool product, and it has applications (especially related to affordable outdoor mesh), but it certainly didn't accomplish what I was hoping it would.

Disappointed with the range and do wish I would have spent a little more on one that would extend my internet outside to my garage which is maybe 30 feet from my house, about 50 feet from the main deco, I even put one closer to the back of the house closest to the garage and still very very weak signal. Great for inside only.

2) Range may be an issue. I have about a 320 foot straight shot through a moderately wooded area to hit a wireless camera. Not gonna happen with the stock antennas. Had to purchase "Outdoor 15dBi Dual Band WiFi 2
