I personally opted to go with Asus and their AImesh set up. I bought two RT-AX3000 routers (one for the middle floor and one for the top floor). You can run them as a straight mesh or link them via an ethernet cable for a dedicated backaul freeing up more bandwidth. This was $300 and now I have great wifi on my three floors, and for the wifi 6 compatible devices I am able to actually use it.
