I have been using the tp link archer c1200 from the past 2 years but always had issues with coverage. It used to give a decent connection upto 10 to 20 meters(not sure just an estimate,but the range seemed pretty bad)it would disconnect after that(5ghz would disconnect even below this point)and games would he laggy even when sitting in the opposite room with just a wall in between.

TP-link Archer series. I've got about the same amount of wifi smart devices on my Archer C7 AC1750 and it works fine. Granted, I also have most of my media devices hardwired and live in a house rather than an apartment. YMMV

Most likely bad wifi. Sorry, but there is a reason TP Link is cheap. It’s not great. I put in UniFi APs a few years ago and never looked back. My 3 ring and a few Wyze cameras outside are all 100% solid with 3 APs in my 2 story home.
