The nylon straps on the Reflip are comfortable whether wet or dry and help hold the flip flops on foot. The footbed is extremely light and buoyant &#40;this is the lightest flip we've tested&#41; and has light molded support. The sole does not absorb water, so no matter how much time you spend with wet feet, they'll still be as light as when you went in. In this way, the Reflip outperformed other lightweight contenders that tended to absorb water and become squishy. The primary drawback of this shoe is that the dry traction leaves a bit to be desired. These were, in fact, some of the least stable on steep, slippery slopes. That said, they got us to all of our favorite swimming spots without any major slips &mdash; the rubber's high surface area performed well on slippery river rocks. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but am glad I went ahead to buy these, anyway. I’ve worn tevas for many years and since they discontinued the single ribbon style flip flop awhile ago, it’s been a struggle to find one as comfortable. I was wearing the Voya flip which was ok.   5-star sandals but a 4-star shopping experience, because the color is off from the picture. The picture shows off-white ivory color sandals, and the actual sandals are a darker grey/beige, with very tiny flecks of teal and dark grey in the sole.

 You have to have these pups strapped on right and tight or else your foot will slip in ways you really don't want to be slipping. They do dry in minutes, however.  But even with those issues and my cleanliness neurosis going on in my head.

.and the strap is a bit stubborn in allowing the strap to slide easily to and fro for a good fit - it takes some work. Furthermore, you pretty much have to be touching the bottom of your sandal to put on and adjust. Maybe it's just me, but that is something I really wish I didn't have to do, because then I have to immediately wash my hands afterward - which often has me walking through my "no shoes indoors" house wearing my sandals, which defeats the purpose of the no shoes allowed part

 You can't put them on standing up at all, you have to be sitting down, with your legs crossed over, and the strap fastener is on the OUTSTIDE of the foot, resulting in an awkward angle - especially for a big person...and the strap is a bit stubborn in allowing the strap to slide easily to and fro for a good fit - it takes some work

 This black rubber on the bottom at the contact points, is the most heavy. It has got the the least amount of air mixed into the rubber and, on top there's sort of a thin nice, relatively cushy layer, uh. That feels really good on the bottoms of the feet um. So when you land on to say a sharp piece of crushed gravel it, it just makes that much more tolerable and the mid the middle rubber

 Hopefully you can see um how much less tread there is up there, and maybe you can see that they are deeper as well. This z trail is several years old, uh from when they originally came out. Posts are a little bit thicker on the newer model, but when this model came out, i thought it was a real game changer for xero shoes, because that was when they started melding. I'M not sure if that's the right word but melding together, various weights of rubber

 So the ev, the the new z trail ev, is actually my fourth pair of these, and this pair was purchased. I believe last fall specifically to keep a fresh pair around for running hundred mile races, uh, so the second and third hundred mile races that i've ran in zero z trails were in this exact. You know this from this set and while i have it here, it's a good opportunity to show you the difference in the tread and design with the previous model in brown. Here you can see less of a more rugged black tread and up front at the ball of the foot

Xero Z-Trail EV Minimalist Sport Sandal, Revised Outsole Design.

I usually wear a 13-- should I have gotten a 12? It rubbed by my toe and gave me a blister on my first walk with them! They are really light weight! Comfortable as zero drop goes! Just not sure if these are "normal" kinks to be worked out. Sometimes new flip flops take a couple of wearings to adjust to our feet. Hoping that's what will happen with these!

I've had two previous generations, currently on my third one and really happy with the design improvements each time. Great work changing from simple rubber (too grippy) to an actual buckle on the adjustment section of the long strap.

My one go to sandals.

Only negative was cost of buying in Europe, hopefully the European hub is coming soon as I wouldn’t purchase from USA again.
