This pin was not present on the knife I ordered. This meant there was nothing stopping the blade from going too far backwards except the tension on the screws. The problem is, if you set them tight enough to stop the blade from going backwards, it's very difficult to open. I don't know why they stopped putting this pin in, or if it's only my knife that it happens to be missing from

A lot of time went into the design of this blade and it shows. Excellent shape and texture of the handle and a perfect length and centered blade ensures this will be my daily use knife for years to come. The Molly compatible sheath even has a pocket that is a perfect fit for a multi tool. Shipping was fast, in fact it came a day earlier than expected

The handle is rough but the blade seems pretty good. It is bigger than you would think but not in a good way.

Upon receiving the HOG I grabbed the handle to remove it from the sheath. My hand was met with a corner of the handle going into my skin. Upon further inspection, it looks like the knife handle may have gotten through QC. It’s pretty clear that the finishing process wasn’t completed
