 Claw blade is nice in some situations (fishing!! Etc.) but maybe not in others. If they made the grip a little larger and had steel liners I’d give it 5 stars, but I doubt I’ll be breaking the handle anytime soon. Really like the higher-end spyderco lines (made in Japan or USA)!

Great Knife, A few Tweaks would = 5 stars

 But what was I to do? Wait till I LOST the knife for good? It was going to happen... and possibly same for you

 I'm purposely not mentioning the brand of the clip because you can find it yourself with a little searching (I am NOT affiliated with any after-market company). Of course, I hated spending even MORE money on an already (over) pricey blade. But what was I to do? Wait till I LOST the knife for good? It was going to happen.

 And for $100, the action is only on par with a gas station folder. But the blade is other-worldly sharp and beautifully designed. I would only have added a finger coil, if it were up to me. I suppose I'll keep this one, but with a lot less joy than I was hoping for

This is my brutally honest assessment of this $100 knife: $95 H1 blade; $3 handle; $2 construction. You decide if it's worth it. For VERY light-duty use, it's probably fine. But this Salt 2 slicer should have absolutely been designed with liners for blade rigidity and handle/pivot strength; as it is, the blade flexes and torques noticeably side to side

 I mean eventually, this will cut it right, but it's just not going to cut it that well, whereas, like throw this on, it's done right. That'S just it's such a difference, so i'm not a big fan of dive knives. The classic is the gerber river shorty and it cuts it cuts real, pretty well. It'Ll, probably cut this in one or two pulls by me

 Let'S give you some specs on it. Uh we're looking at about 7.75 inches overall and there and see if i can show that tip there uh, i believe about a three and a half inch cutting edge or three and a half inch uh blade. I think the cutting edge is actually a little shorter because of the sharpening choil here

 These really cool boxes is because, like you know, you can use this later put stuff in it store stuff in it. That'S it's a very neat container, something that people are are very unlikely to toss in the trash. So let's get the knife out here and take a look uh underneath it for a second. So you get the certificate here

 Um and one of the let's, let's talk about a few things, oh also before we forget it got a nice notch here for your fire, steel uh for for striking getting fires lit um and then the last thing. I want to talk about with this knife that we're going to dive into a good little bit here is this: is the best scout carry knife that i think i've ever owned? It carries really really well conceals really really well, but also really comfortable with scalp carry so like if you're scout, carrying this and you're camping or hiking. It'S it's not rubbing into your digging into you, so we're actually gon na cut away and uh. I'M gon na try and comfortably show you guys how well the scalp carries and pulls out from the scalp carry position and hopefully that'll make you with some help you out with some purchasing decisions, but let's cut away so we can show you guys that, and actually Let me just show this bad boy off one more time
