However, the Android TV OS is terrible and makes me wish I never bought the TV. I read the warnings in the reviews but ignored them and regret it a lot. The interface is slow, clunky, and not intuitive. The voice assistant on the remote is so slow I can’t tell when it’s actually listening

It takes a total of 18 (yes, EIGHTEEN) button presses on the remote to successfully make a connection, and get me back to the input I was watching. (I'm not even including the button press on my headphones). In comparison, my Blu-ray player takes exactly ONE press of a button, but I like to use my Xbox for a superior picture, as well as 4K support (Xbox lacks Bluetooth). This seems like a software fix needed on Sony's end

At this point I have all my inputs setup, learned all my OTA tv channels, tested Netflix but have not installed Prime, Plex or Kodi yet. I had a Fire Tv cube that I was going to plug in here but it looks like that would be redundant (have not tested alexa commands to this tv yet, or ok google). I will update after I load software the way I want. I was pleased that there was an optical out for my SS receiver, although mostly I am using the tv speakers (sound quality was another big point for me)

I will keep the TV, but would go for cheaper model next time for my particular needs in that specific room. Unless you sit close to the screen, lots of the advantages of this screen quality get lost. Sound wise, it's actually usable after some equalizer adjustments, but here too I'm using HomePods that deliver fuller sound and don't sound like a TV speaker. (the TV allows connections to Amazon and Google wireless speakers as well)

The install pamphlet was of no help either. Google provided the answer: The Home button displays many things and if you scroll down, well past the bottom of the screen, you eventually find the setup menu. That had all the normal options like channel scanning and input labeling that you expect from a modern TV.
