 Price-wise Dior is half the price. it's less than half the price of the XD and it's 20% cheaper than the SLX If you think about upgrading to XD XD are ok and select is fine because it's still quite cheap, but this one is cool. I Don't see any reason why I would upgrade from D Re upwards unless you're getting very good in mountain biking and you're racing, you will have light bike or you just have the budget by XDR why not by XD our guys it will be lighter. You won't appreciate all the systems you won't even know they exist

 So we have 10 speed cassette but you have all the systems in the shifter that SLX has so multiple shifting to a release it has it. It doesn't have the instant release and multiple release which only XD and xD I have not even SLX. Deore M6000 - Why Is It The Most Unappreciated MTB Groupset From Shimano...

I think shimano deore is the better value. I just upgraded to gx with a nx cassette but if I was starting fresh, 90% sure I would go shimano. You're going to need a new hub or rear wheel if you want a deore 12 speed cassette though. You can use a Sunrace cassette but you lose the hyperglide plus shifting

Shimano deore VS sram SX/NX groupsets

I'd go for the Shimano Deore drivetrain over SRAM SX Eagle based on reliability. Their better 11-50t derailleurs are great as are their cheaper 11-42t derailleurs but that spec in particular (their cheapest 11-50t) seems to have a lot of problems. You can swap on a GX derailleur though.

Advice on First Bike - Cross Country, Budget Cap is $1400

I would normally go with SLX or XT, depending on price difference at the time, but only the Deore states compatibility with 11-42. This has sorted out the problems I had with the XT mech after conversion from 2x to 1x and increasing from 11-36 to 11-42 cassette.

I expect I’ll get a year out of it without issues - then will consider 11 speed upgrades...

 This of course will be the crank set we have. Well unfortunately we have only one set of brakes already here. the other one is still being shipped. Uh we are in Switzerland and like the bike industry uh and its shipment like let's say uh times already

 We have um, two types of radio rails here actually so we'll check them out, but this really nice group set we have a four bolt version. Of course the bolts are visible here unlike the 105 group set. uh the new one which is really which makes a really uh, elegant finish. Also, this thing here is closed with the 105

Shimano GRX 810 Groupset Review

 We're primarily going to focus on effectively the cheapest combination of 11 speed components that you can put together to make a two by drivetrain. However, I have also ridden 10 Speed Rx 400 quite extensively and the top spec Ultegra equivalent Rx 800 series stuff, and I'll be making comparisons throughout. My test bed for Grx has been this Genesis Quad Affair 853, which you may remember from the Lockdown Builds video we did last year hasn't really changed since then. This bike has 105 equivalent Rx 600 levers, Ultegra equivalent Rx 810, derailleurs, the 105 level Rx 600 crank, which is a 4630, and then it's got an 11 to 34 cassette at the back

 You should expect to see components like this. So, a mix of Rx 600, Rx 810. That sort of level on bikes starting at around 1600 pounds in the Uk or maybe about 2 000 us dollars [Music] Ultimately, Shimano Grx is not earth-shatteringly surprising new or different, but it's very, very good at what it does, and it offers options that will suit a huge number of riders. If you're thinking about specking a gravel bike, I think it's a really compelling option, particularly at the lower end, where I think it's better than the options from key rivals
