However, if it is significantly better, I would take the plunge and buy the Q850A now. My major activity is Netflix (\~30-40% Atmos content), Prime video, Youtube and sometimes Spotify. Do not have any game console but might buy it end of next year, not a priority.

Recommendations for soundbar

I have this exact setup (X900H + PS5 + Switch + XBox One) with a Samsung Q850A. Worth noting that the rear speakers are not truly wireless; they connect to a receiver via speaker cables and the receiver wirelessly transmits to the soundbar. X900H supports eARC which works great with the Q850A but the volume control is wonky. You can change the volume using the TV remote but the on-display volume bar won't move in-sync with the soundbar level

I’m not an audiophile, more so just looking to upgrade from the horrible built-in TV speakers and have a better experience for playing video games (PS5 and Switch) and watching movies (looking for something that supports Dolby Atmos).

Soundbar recommendations for Sony X900H + PS5

 The bass was too boomy (I like the bass from JBL more), but if bass is super necessary, you might be able to get an open box version from Best Buy around $500 (assuming you live in the US). I found the Samsung to be problematic though.

  The Roku Smart Soundbar seemed like the perfect solution.  I used it for a few weeks and ended up returning it.  Here is what I experienced:

The new bar adds HDMI, changes the cosmetics and includes an intriguing smart speaker connection

Vizio V21 review: Best soundbar under $200

I have v21 h8 and it is been very difficult to set up. Assistant can link via Bluetooth but then you cannot have other devices link to the soundbar. There is voice assistant aux in but sadly no ga gh product has 3.5 mm jack

I currently have a Google mini in the TV room which I use to turn on/off the TV and Hue lights. The one device in the room that Google can't affect is the soundbar though, any time the volume is too soft/loud I have to find where the kids last placed the remote. Most soundbar Google assistant descriptions describe using the soundbar to receive voice commands like a Google mini, but I'm not finding descriptions if the soundbar can be controlled using commands like "turn up the volume on the Vizio" (regardless of what input it is currently using). I'm currently looking at the Vizio M512a-H6, has anyone had any experience with this?

Got all & was baffled at remote being impossible to open, so after googling & still couldn’t open, called Vizio. Connection to wherever the call goes to was hardly audible, finally Rep suggested I use a small coin to pry the remote open, which I gently did, and the the ENTIRE remote fell apart with pieces flying everywhere, and her suggestion was then for me to just not use the remote

 Wireless subwoofer that looks top of the line, looks modern and small. You can place it anywhere in that room as well. Has the better options than the other sound bars and it comes with the subwoofer on top of that, all the other sound bars don't have voice assistant for 119.

It'S got the hdmi also on the right side, which makes sense, because that's where your hdmi cables are on your tv on the right side, it has the sound bar hdmi arc.
