The vacuum itself incurs relatively low recurring costs and feels well-built. However, it does have quite a few parts that need periodic cleaning. It lacks an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, which could be a disappointment if you have a pet that sheds heavily. If you're looking for an exceedingly affordable robot vacuum, the eufy Robovac 25C is worth a look

The short version; This is a terrific vacuum. My floors have never been cleaner. I am very satisfied with my purchase and could confidently recommend it. I really feel bad for giving it only 3 stars, however, a few minor issues detract from making it the perfect product

Also the X8 is going to a hidden place to charge and I want to ask it to come out for a cleaning.

Love that it has four suction modes, love that the battery life is ridiculously good - it can run for like 2 hours. Love that I can set it to automatically run 5x a day if I want, or to send it out wherever on command. And maybe my absolute favorite thing: it runs in a back and forth motion so I know it’s hitting every inch of floor every night. You can make it do multiple passes of the same area, also - so under the dining table can get cleaned 3x automatically

So here is my issue... I think this is a great vacuum if you have absolutely zero thresholds

Suction power, mapping And movement I give a 3 maybe 4. It doesn’t finish my floors like my d brand did which lasted me 6 years. Bought this from Reading reviews and not too happy with it. I’m Sending it back

It has been reliable and easy to use. - It does a great job of mapping the house and generally runs in a logical way. - One of my favorite parts is that this is a modular design and can EASILY be repaired by anybody of any skill level. For an expensive investment, this was important to me knowing that I can keep it running for years into the future

The X8 is a big upgrade in a lot of ways, not least of which is its much-improved suction power. In addition to that and the mapping capability, being able to control the machine completely with a smart phone app via WiFi makes it far easier to use than the older model, which cleaned (well) by making random sweeps throughout the floor area. This unit creates and follows a map of a room or an entire floor. It's a testament to Eufy's quality that we moved the original unit to another floor and are still using it regularly

I would give it 5 stars if there were a better solution for the sensors, like designing the sensor area to accept a clip on block that does what the tape does but is more permanent. The tape works well but is still wonky.

My only complaint is that right front side brush is not properly integrated into the overall design. The brush ALWAYS pushes the charging stand out of the way and fails to dock. Without the side brush both machines dock as they should.

The filter is washable, but we found with the e4 it takes forever to dry. The solution to this is just buying a second filter and swapping them when one needs to be cleaned. Easy peasy. The map function works great, dividing/separating rooms is easy

The filter is tiny and easy to tap on the edge of a garbage pan or outside to get dust off, then rinse under water and let air dry. It comes with two, so you can swap them out. The dust bin opens up and all the dust tumbles into the trash. Takes less than five minutes to do everything

My main purpose is to keep The house free of dust and pet hair, And it Meets my expectations.

I have no idea where all this dust is coming from but it is obviously no longer floating around. The dust bin has a nice filter in it to keep the dust from going back into the air and even a little brush to clean the filter off each time. It slides out and back in easily without disturbing the main unit. While not the cheapest robovac you can find, you do get what you pay for

Yeedi is so quiet, the roborock is rather loud. If yeedi added multi-floor mapping to their app, I would switch back in a second! Roborock is a good vacuum, for when your not home, but if your home it's loud and annoying.

(really annoying part). - and lastly, it's very loud. when I run it, it scares my bunny.

I’ve had this vacuum a little over a month. The filter is at an estimated 49% life left, side brush 62%, and main brush 75%. For perspective, I use this for a ~1200sq ft area with tile and vinyl plank floors. It gets stuck on small rugs sometimes, been meaning to get some carpet tape

The dust bin is easy to empty, but the filter really needs to be brushed clean (brush attaches to outside of dust bin for storage). "Goofy" is set to run every day and always comes back with an impressive amount of dust, hair, and other grit. Tip: Raise the dust ruffle on the bed a couple inches so the LIDAR can see under it, and the robot will clean under the bed! Watch out for hidden cords.
