The short version; This is a terrific vacuum. My floors have never been cleaner. I am very satisfied with my purchase and could confidently recommend it. I really feel bad for giving it only 3 stars, however, a few minor issues detract from making it the perfect product

It cleans very well - the floors have never looked like this (I have 3 dogs) ever. 9/19. We are trying the mopping action for the first time. Deebot is getting stuck on the edge of the wool rugs more often - and getting hung up on the corners of rugs, telling me it is stuck

It is able to suck up all the cat hair in my house in one pass, whereas the Roomba i7 took 2 or three passes to do the same job. The lidar navigation on the DEEBOT OZMO T8+ is a night and day improvement over the Roomba. It cleans my house in roughly 1/3 the time it took the Roomba, and does a better job. I'd love to get the roborock S7 with bin or an iRobot but they are out of my pricerange so have to aim a bit lower in the ranks. My selection at the moment is between the following vacuums which are all around same price class (all around ~575$ range after fx conversion): xiaomi dreame z10 pro / xiaomi viomi s9 / Samsung jet bot+ / ecovacs deebot t8+ or the cheaper xiaomi roidme eve plus (~100$ less).

So here is my issue... I think this is a great vacuum if you have absolutely zero thresholds

This unit I can run multiple times and after the first time the dust bin hardly has anything in it. The brushes spin at a much better RPM not throwing debris around the house especially in already vacuumed areas which I hated with my older model. The Lidar is much quicker to map out your home and the robot will detect carpet, mark it on the map by shading the area with a light grey diagonal line pattern, and then increase suction power while vacuuming on it. Love this feature as I normally run the vacuum on standard power and it will boost to max or ultra max on the carpet by itself

It has been reliable and easy to use. - It does a great job of mapping the house and generally runs in a logical way. - One of my favorite parts is that this is a modular design and can EASILY be repaired by anybody of any skill level. For an expensive investment, this was important to me knowing that I can keep it running for years into the future

That was with preparation! I wanted this to be easy and it became quite apparent this would not be. If you had no kids, no animals, and we're a clean person, this would be incredible! If you have to pick up and organize before you robo vacuum, then I'm not sure it's really a timesaver. So, I'd rather do it myself and leave the frustration behind.
