In fact, I'm so happy with the quality of the sound (which blows away my next nicest pair) that I'm already looking forward to finding something new. My setup is simple: Schiit Stack (Magni 3+ & Modi). I currently own: Audio Technica M50x (my first baby), Sennheiser HD 6XX, and the DT 1990s.

However, the open-back enclosure allows sound to leave the ear cups and bounce against your environment, which helps create a more immersive and spacious passive soundstage. While they lack a thumpy low-bass, which is normal from open-back headphones, their mid-range is exceptionally flat and well-balanced, resulting in the clear, present, and accurate reproduction of dialogue and instruments. They also have a very comfortable fit, so you can wear them for long listening sessions without feeling fatigued.

Overall though what I found was that the 4XX kind of was a little bit in no-man's land between the two. It didn't have the impact and bass of the DT88...

It is not neccesity to be a open back i just want to a headset that do not make my ears sweat. I have found philips shp9500 but when i check rtings.com it is claim that arctis 3 better than this and, i want to buy a better headset than i currently own. My max budget is 80 dollars

I have Dekoni Bulletz on there. Great sound, wish it was bassier, but it’s my workhorse.

I used these things mercilessly for 15 years, gaming and even sleeping with them on. They still work like new. You cannot go wrong with Sennheiser HD6xx or 58x series cans.

Decided noise cancellation was only nice on an airplane, and I preferred wired, donl't have to turn on or charge. If you have eyeglasses or hearing aides like I do, these are perfact. Yes I have expensive Sony noise canceling blue tooth, but the HD5XX are just in a different class, use all day, gaming, general listening. Plugged directly into Gigabyte Z690 Master mobo, no need for a DAC/amp here
