Almost perfect, the best 4K color depth video camera (prosumer) BUT for the autofocus problems in keeping the main subject in focus. Firmware update to support 4:2:2 in 10bit color is slow and unavailable as of August 2017. Recommend gimble stabilizer even with a LUMIX IS lens.

I, personally, would choose A7S. That autofocus is just too good, and the image quality is enough.

Now there are some poor lenses too, but if you are willing to pay a little more I have found all of the Panny/Leica and Olympus Zuiko lenses to be very, very good.

On top of that there is a great number of Sony lenses out on the market. The Canon R series is good don't get me wrong but there is screw all lenses and they aint cheap.

This is an amazing little package that can give cameras 4 times more expensive a run for their money. The Lumix DC-GH5 is blurring the lines between prosumer and professional with features like 4k at 60p, 10-bit 4:2:2 recorded internally, plus many more. Future firmware updates will blur those lines even further with a 400Mbp/s bit rate codec! This is an exciting camera that will give you stunning photos and videos (admittedly more on the video side). A must own for the aspiring photographer/filmmaker on a budget

But while shooting my first gig wich is mostly real estate & music video for what I "need" slow motion footage for really smooth images I realised that the 1080p120 quality isnt really that good. Watching a compressed youtube version of that video is really not pleasant. I tried training real estate videos in 4k30 by just moving really slow but that often ruins the shot because I think its actually kinda hard to keep the image stabilized when moving that slow. I mostly shoot in 1080p120 now what feels like limiting the a7iii but i guess the 4k60 will look much "better" than the 1080p120
