OXO Good Grips Non-Stick 9" Square vs Parrish Magic Line Cake Pans

I have only used this pan twice and both times I lined it with parchment paper (because parchment paper is amazing). In the past I used a glass dish which took longer to bake things than most recipes listed (plus it was annoying checking it every couple of minute to make sure it didn't burn). This OXO 9x9 pan = so far, so good! This pan cooks evenly and in the timeframes listed in recipes.

I forgot to flour the pan after greasing it and the cake still came out of the pan easily and perfectly. Make sure you wash them well before the first use. When I went to grease them the first time, I noticed silver residue on the paper towel. I simply wiped off the grease and rewashed the pan

I’ve been making brownies for a very long time as they are my husbands favorite. Lately, I’ve been noticing that I’ve been getting a very uneven cook using glass Pyrex or nonstick pans (outside edges burn and middle is still raw) so I bought this instead and on my very first try, my cheesecake brownies turned out PERFECT!!! Don’t hesitate if you are thinking about it for brownies! Hope you found this helpful :)

Is NOT non stick! I went with these bc they were made in USA and had good ratings but was extremely disappointed as I had to line the pan on the bottom and sides with parchment and grease it! I tried greasing without parchment and still stuck every time! I finally ordered the Fat Daddio’s 4” anodized aluminum pans and one that was a sheet cake pan and they are perfect! Fat Daddio’s anodized aluminum does not stick! I still always grease my pans though as an extra measure. Save yourself the time and money as these Parrish pans are not worth it!
