Osprey Aether Plus 60 Pack - Men's
Tips for packing larger tents.
I sprung for the Osprey Aether Plus 60 which has loops with buckles just outside the sleeping bag compartment, but when it there the balance gets thrown off and pulls back in my collarbone quite a bit. I tried packing it into the pack and it feels great that way, but doesn't leave be with enough room to fit either my bear canister or cooking system. Besides getting a more compressible or compact tent, are there alternative spots to strap the tent to keep the balance?.

Good size and looks great
I have lots of backpacks and lots of duffels, but the Timbuk2 Impulse is my first backpack duffel. My Patagonia duffel has backpack straps, but it's not the primary method for carrying it, like the Impulse. I love the size, but I probably wouldn't take it on a plane. I prefer to check my bags and ju...

Legendary Osprey quality with tons of thoughtful features
I’ve used, enjoyed, and (sometimes) abused my Osprey gear and I’ve never been let down by the backpacks or luggage. This pack is no different. The materials and components are high quality and I trust them to hold up under the most demanding conditions. The various straps, buckles, and gear loops pr...

Perfect Rollerboard Alternative
I have traveled in multiple countries, by rail, car, and air, with a bag of this design that I thought I would never replace: the Tom Bihn Aeronaut 45. As dearly as I love Timbuk2, I never thought there would be a better carry-on than the Aeronaut. I was wrong. Timbuk2 has taken the perfect bag, and...

Osprey Aether Plus Series Review
Let me say this: the ether series is built for men to see the same packs designed for women check out the ariel series, and let me also repeat that point about carrying large loads. I think the 70 85 and 100 liter packs you see here make that clear.

Just what I needed for my trip to Iceland
Took this bag with me to travel to Iceland in November when it was pouring rain, snowing and lots of hail. I put a small camera bag and extra layers and towels in the bag to do a hike to some ice caves. Had to leave my bag out in the elements while going into the caves. While I was hiking it was sno...

TIMBUK2 Impulse Backpack is AWESOME!... (except for the buckles)
Wow! I can't say enough good about the TIMBUK2 Impulse. Do you want a backpack? You're good to go. Do you want a duffel bag? Good to go? Want waterproofing? Yeah. PU coated zips and pulls? Yep. Lots of space? You bet (14" x 20" x 6"). Now for what you can't see. The bag has multiple pouches and hidd...
