I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail 

My Convoy S2+ finally arrived...I love it.

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

I did not carry any of my usual EDCs with me as I only left for a few minutes to get some fresh air, but I always carry my Olight SR2 no matter the time of day or occasion. I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

New Convoy M21E has been released. No throw/output specs yet.

It's definitely 8k lumens but it drops down to around 4-5k lumens after 30 seconds or so. Battery life is solid if you're using medium brightness otherwise you'll burn through your Battery. Charge time takes about 5 hours or so on an empty battery. Build quality is well made, but the new Anduril 2

Almost perfect

 Some note is the hotspot and the rings and the beam hacker light softened acolyte software acolyte sulfur. You can clearly see that the brightness is similar, backlight sulfur acolyte software hackalite soften acolyte okey-dokey. Let'S sum it up guys, i'm really pleased with this one, especially that this was sent to me for a test uh, and i really enjoyed playing with this flashlight. I mean it is a nice improvement over the original blf edition and some earlier versions with xpl2 leds uh

 I also uh with the flashlight got this holster and i was told that the holster was actually a bonus, for you know the bigger order. So, let's see if the holster actually fits the the flashlight well could be better but [ Music ]. Eventually, you will get used to this one, and this is definitely a little bit loose for this flashlight, but definitely a nice addition, for you know free item uh. It'S a bonus for a bigger order, good job, especially that the holster is high quality

 As you can see, more greenish, tint and the spot can be seen now, so let's go to the top ramp and now the turbo mode, oh yep, you can definitely see some power here. You can check my review for different beam shots, but here on this scenario, this weather definitely out froze the rest, but and also gives you the most side light of all of them, so definitely different, reflector design and soften but same leds. So i think we can compare this one both side by side, but for now you have to believe me that the hotspot on this is the most intense one of three of them and the power is similar to the pro version of sovereign, very nice flashlight. Overall, the size is a little bit bigger

My First Real Flashlight/Light Saber/Portable Heater

So i reviewed the original sofrin sp36 back in 2019 and this is an updated version of the sp 36 pro that came out earlier in the year. So, instead of being this being a full review like i typically do, i'm going to go over the differences between the pro and the standard version, mainly between the leds, increasing output and different uis. Thanks to sophomore. For being so understanding on this review, it took longer than expected with life getting in the way they have provided a coupon where you can find the sp 36 and sp36 pro for a discount in the description below

 In peak output here and 5500 kelvin, we can see again. This throws pretty well here, not quite as well, but close. We can see it's a little bit, cooler tint as well hard to tell so. There is the sp 36 pro and there is the sp36, not a ton of difference between the two, but you can see the sv36 pro and, with my eyes, is a little bit brighter a little bit more neutral tint, and i do like that android firmware

 Blf q8, with a ton of output still and an android firmware. The sp, 36 and q8 are the sp-36 platform and q8 are my favorite can style lights and the sp-36 pro is a nice addition that i can recommend if you want a little bit more output, tint options with your leds and don't mind the complexity of the Android firmware overall a good light at a value price thanks for watching these videos, please like subscribe and share and i'll catch you on the next review. Soon. 

 So here is the sp-36. This is running those cree xp l2s about 6000 lumens. In peak output here and 5500 kelvin, we can see again. This throws pretty well here, not quite as well, but close

 So let's talk about runtime here and this might get a little bit confusing to some people, so i'll try and do my best to explain it since this light is running android. I highly recommend you calibrate it. I did that on when i first got it and it results in longer runtimes and better thermal regulation for a video on how that's done. Let me know in the comments i might have time to do that in the future
