I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail 

My Convoy S2+ finally arrived...I love it.

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

  Tonight, as I was returning home from on my nightly walks, I came across an individual who under some sort of influence, attempting to break into my apartment building's front door. I did not carry any of my usual EDCs with me as I only left for a few minutes to get some fresh air, but I always carry my Olight SR2 no matter the time of day or occasion. I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

 In my opinion than we've got here with the 2819 version. In that cool white emitter, if you do like cool white, you can pick that cree xp g3 emitter for the 2020 version and you get all the same features here. So again here is the 2019 rt01 and the 2020 rrt 01 run time here is very linear. I started off my test with that included 1100 milliamp hour 18350 battery on full power output

 I put on the extension tubes here and ran this with a samsung 30q 3000 milliamp hour 18650 battery, and that was a mistake. The reason why that wasn't a protected battery and when i did this my first time the light ran until the cell was dangerously low at one volt, basically trashing the cell. Yes, i can charge it up and still use it, but that's not the safest thing to do. I'M not happy about that

 This is the original from about eight years ago, which i don't have here, the 2019 version which i have here on top and then the 2020 version that is on bottom, each have their own difference in performance batteries and led. I do wish jet beam. We'Ve added a v1 v2 v3 or use a different name for each light, so it was easier for consumers to tell the difference. The easiest way to tell the difference between the 2019 and 2020 is to look at the tail

[BST] September 2021 Buy, Sell, Trade Thread.

 Um, it would just be nice. I I feel like the only thing that this is really lacking, is a little bit of runtime and so I'd love to see them just provide me with an 18 650 tube for this. Just put this same head on an 18 650 sized thing, and that would be a very, very, very good light, especially with a USB charged 18 650, oh boy or ideally USB charging built-in right up here, just saying guys but anyways. I would definitely like that that would be an improvement next thing light colour on this isn't amazing, it's sort of it's fine

 Whereas on this guy the clip is right in the rotary, and so you really have to be careful, and sometimes you have to kind of do a regrab or something like that. If you are too close to the clip mind you, you can operate it fully with your fingers. Cleverly positioned, but definitely the clip is sort of interfering and I get that they couldn't move it back further, because they've done this thing where they have the body wider up here, I I wish that this whole thing were a little skin here and you could just Put the clip on the barrel, but that would less that's the thing that's most annoying here is just the clip is kind of weirdly positioned and oh, I don't know that, there's a better place to put it yeah, that's not great, and so to me at least That'S what's bad here is that the clip position isn't good. The light color isn't amazing

 I'M to start with it tale, stands very, very easily, it's nice and wide, and it's not particularly properly it just the tail stands beautifully. There'S no concern whatsoever with this guy and it also has little holes here that you can put tritium tubes in through. If that's something that brings you joy. So that's a nice thing

The JetBeam RRT01 'Raptor' V2 Light: The Full Nick Shabazz Review

 Well, i'm excited! So, let's take this outside see how it does in the wilderness [ Music ]. We are out here in this windy, weird weather out of nowhere literally i've been out here for over an hour and testing lights out and wind came out of nowhere. Anyways we're here to test out here in the darkness, the jet beam and we've got [ Music ] that so i'm just gon na go ahead and sorry about this. We'Re gon na go ahead and get started

 You can do that so smooth all the way to off we'll turn it just to where it comes on right there, that's the lowest light output there and that's probably about a half a lumen. I don't think even though it says one lumen to 950. That looks less than a lumen really impressive. So now i'll show you how to do these special modes you're going to go all the way up to the highest output and simply double back and forth on that dial will get you strobe, and that is a constant rate of speed on the flash and then, If you want to dial that down, you can until shuts off and you're right back in business now, if you do want to get the other special mode, you'll need to do the same thing, but only this time three times one so now, if you do want To get the other special modes again you're going to do it again this time three times one two three we'll get you sos and that's at the full light output as well, once you've done that you can easily turn this down

 If you open it up from this end, you will not be able to take the battery out, i'm just showing you the spring, see the quality put it all back together. Now we'll take the battery out. Now there is a little protection piece in here. You want to remove when taking the battery out as clear as you can see and i'll show you the head of the light straight contact point there
