I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail 

My Convoy S2+ finally arrived...I love it.

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

  Tonight, as I was returning home from on my nightly walks, I came across an individual who under some sort of influence, attempting to break into my apartment building's front door. I did not carry any of my usual EDCs with me as I only left for a few minutes to get some fresh air, but I always carry my Olight SR2 no matter the time of day or occasion. I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

(the 18350 makes the flashlight about half the size at the cost of battery life) The t4k is too chunky to put on a keychain comfortably anyway. As for the t10k I recommend you get the astrolux mf01s 4000k. It’s cheaper, stronger, has replaceable battery’s, more throw, more lumens, aux leds that look pretty.

What started out as a hunt for cat pee in my house turned into me buying a UVBeast Mini V2 blacklight from Amazon for 40 bucks, which then turned into me buying a Nitecore Chameleon CU6. Both lights absolutely blew me away because the brightest flashlight I’ve ever owned is a little 5 dollar 120 lumen light from Lowe’s, and now all of a sudden I’m spending hours browsing this subreddit looking at all different types of flashlights.

I’m looking for 2 maybe 3 lights for specific use. I would like a high brightness keychain light for around the house use. The Nitecore T4K looks very decent to me. I don’t mind the limited turbo as 200 lumen should be good for minor use around the house with the need for an occasional 4K lumen.

I’d also like to buy a small form factor 10,000 lumen flashlight such as the Nitecore TM10K, although 300 dollars is a little pricey but not outside of my budget. I would like to find something similar in size and brightness.

The last type of light I’d like to buy is a long thrower. Something with an impressive beam length just to show off to friends.

Ideally my budget for each flashlight is $150/ea so if you can recommend any lights similar and cheaper than Nitecore that would be absolutely amazing. I really like the form factors of the Nitecore lights, but I don’t see them mentioned on this sub very often, and there must be a reason for that.

 It'S going to go ahead and do this now, just like you would a regular tripod, but some of these lights run pretty warm and if it's not cold outside or you're indoors, look at how that fits right on there. You now can hold it like that. Not amazing, it's great. It'S really good, then they're, not bad, so I'm gon na go ahead and leave a link to this

What it looks like there and it looks like the only specs we have here. As far as output max beam intensity is 15,000 lumens there, as you can see, is the maximum output on this light

But now I'm looking for something that will lay down an unholy amount of lumens and turn night into day, at least for the immediate surroundings. Was looking at the D18, but many people seem to say it doesn't have enough thermal mass and dissipation, and steps down quickly. The MF01S, although dated, seems to have that under control a little better. I am a big high CRI and warm/neutral white fan
