I went ahead and installed a NZXT M22 paired with a slim 120mm Noctua fan since all other cooling solutions (Asetek 645LT and Alpenfohn Black Ridge) failed to keep my 3900X (in ECO mode) to normal temps. Currently, with a room temp of (approximately) 25C, the CPU idles to 37 and maxes to 75C when running a couple of rounds of Cinebench R23, while the Asetek was struggling to keep it under 90C.

So I proceeded to go ahead and take it all apart, drain it completely, put distilled water in it, which it has now, no sloshing, no gurgling, we filled it completely up. And so now what we're going to do, I'll show you a little bit of that process, but then we're going to plug it back into a system and see what happens now. If you're seeing this video, it might've been successful or that might just be the preamble to throwing it in the garbage or in the trash can

 So that doesn't look, yeah, that doesn't look really good. So I'm going to clean it up, put everything back together, see what happens. All right, after some careful cleanup with this part, actually these two parts, the rubber and the copper piece here, I think we're good enough to start actually putting everything back together, filling it to the rest of the way and seeing if we don't have something that doubles as a working cooler. We'll see how it goes

 We took it out, we replaced it because it was making an awful racket and it was idling at about 95 C, which is horrible, yeah, there's just no excuse for that. So right away we figured there was a problem. I went ahead in the first video, we cleaned up the fan, we cleaned up the radiator, we did everything, we pasted, tried it out, still a problem. Second video I went ahead and I took the motor itself, the motor assembly out of the back of the radiator and NZXT has a little bit different than your basic Asetek motor

 But so far, so good. No noise, temps are down, idles well, and even under stress, it seems to do very, very well. So overall, very happy with it. It works out very, very well

Round 3 with NZXT. One last look at the Kraken M22 All-in One cooler. I mean it this time!

 All right, so those of you that don't already know, I made two videos on this already.

 This is an NZXT, yeah, you can probably see it right there, NZXT Kraken M22.

 It's a 120 millimeter all-in-one cooler.

 It was in a friend of mine Jeremy's computer.

 We took it out, we replaced it because it was making an awful racket and it was idling

 So right away we figured there was a problem.

 But now I just want to see if it all works.

 So now it's time to put everything back together, see if I can't get something out of it.

 Of course, I got to clean up the other side of it too.

 So that doesn't look, yeah, that doesn't look really good.

 So I'm going to clean it up, put everything back together, see what happens.

 All right, after some careful cleanup with this part, actually these two parts, the rubber

 and the copper piece here, I think we're good enough to start actually putting everything

 back together, filling it to the rest of the way and seeing if we don't have something

 All right, so we've got it all put back together and secured and taken care of.

 Next step will be just to see what happens when we put it back in a system.

 I have a feeling it's going to be a little bit better.

 I don't know if we're going to be any better off with the heat, but if we are and you get

 to see this video, it's because it worked and if not, well, it goes in the scrap heap.

 So what I did is I went ahead and installed it back in the rig that I've got the X470

 We went ahead, swapped it all, put it all back in there, tightened everything down and

 And lo and behold, a little bit of gurgling at first and it wasn't enough for me to actually

 try to catch on camera or to actually catch audibly.

 I thought at first maybe we were going to have a little bit of an issue, then kind of

 So it wasn't that big of a deal at all, wasn't a problem.

 Now when I'm looking at it in the BIOS, running at a steady 59 degrees, looks great.

 I went ahead and went into Windows, checked to make sure that everything came up okay.
