I removed the OEM shroud assembly from the 3070 and clipped the fans directly to the OEM heatsink on the GPU with fan brackets from a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO I no longer use. This way there were no zip-ties or glue. The fans are about ½" from the heat sink frame so there is a small air gap, but it is just fine.
