I went ahead and installed a NZXT M22 paired with a slim 120mm Noctua fan since all other cooling solutions (Asetek 645LT and Alpenfohn Black Ridge) failed to keep my 3900X (in ECO mode) to normal temps. Currently, with a room temp of (approximately) 25C, the CPU idles to 37 and maxes to 75C when running a couple of rounds of Cinebench R23, while the Asetek was struggling to keep it under 90C.

So I proceeded to go ahead and take it all apart, drain it completely, put distilled water in it, which it has now, no sloshing, no gurgling, we filled it completely up. And so now what we're going to do, I'll show you a little bit of that process, but then we're going to plug it back into a system and see what happens now. If you're seeing this video, it might've been successful or that might just be the preamble to throwing it in the garbage or in the trash can

 So that doesn't look, yeah, that doesn't look really good. So I'm going to clean it up, put everything back together, see what happens. All right, after some careful cleanup with this part, actually these two parts, the rubber and the copper piece here, I think we're good enough to start actually putting everything back together, filling it to the rest of the way and seeing if we don't have something that doubles as a working cooler. We'll see how it goes

 We took it out, we replaced it because it was making an awful racket and it was idling at about 95 C, which is horrible, yeah, there's just no excuse for that. So right away we figured there was a problem. I went ahead in the first video, we cleaned up the fan, we cleaned up the radiator, we did everything, we pasted, tried it out, still a problem. Second video I went ahead and I took the motor itself, the motor assembly out of the back of the radiator and NZXT has a little bit different than your basic Asetek motor

 But so far, so good. No noise, temps are down, idles well, and even under stress, it seems to do very, very well. So overall, very happy with it. It works out very, very well

Round 3 with NZXT. One last look at the Kraken M22 All-in One cooler. I mean it this time!

 Unfortunately, I was not able to reach my expected temp goals with the Corsair H60i. We can argue that the NZXT has a larger radiator and dual fans where the Corsair has one fan and a smaller radiator, but I would think that it still should be efficient enough to keep the temps at a more stable number. However, for this processor, I do recommend the Kraken especially if you can only fit 2 fans. I am sure there is better, but this works for me

 So in a real world environment, none of these all in ones are really distracting from a meter away, but if you listen very closely, the M22 is the least distracting cooler. So when it comes to performance and efficiency in a real world environment, NZXT is the winner for now, even though it was just by a single degree. So to sum everything up, in my opinion, this is a great product. Build quality is amazing, design is out of this world and everything has that NZXT cleanness going on

2 GHz, and then we started with a few tests. First off would be all in, so we fired up heavy load and started to grill our CPU. And after a good 30 minutes run, we found that the M22 actually won this round with one single degree Celsius. But of course, this is still within the margin of error, so I would say that the Cougar Aqua and the M22 are somewhat the same when on a full load

 Now on the negative side though, I think the Aero should definitely be on the fan, because there will be people out there doing it wrong. And I think that it is a pity that they didn't make the M22 mountable with the original AM2 brackets. It would just make it way easier and convenient.  For our testing, if that cooler had a beneficial footprint that would allow for that rear intake or exhaust, I wanted that to be measurable as well. All fan speeds were locked using a Corsair fan controller. This is a fairly representative test case for many SFF builds. Interestingly, with the panels closed and the case fans activated, the big Shuriken 3 falls behind the Noctua L12S, although not by much when compared apples to apples to the low profile configuration, where the L12S is only 1mm taller

 So if that's your plan, I'd say that doesn't help much. I did also take a look at the Noctua A12x15 on the cooler, and at the same noise levels, it also was not a very good fit. The position of the fan blades on the Kaze Flex Slim works very well on the heatsink, so I'm guessing Sy designed the heatsink around this fan, so I would stick with that fan if you go with this cooler. The Big Shuriken 3 was the best when airflow was unrestricted, and it was closely behind the slightly more expensive L12S, especially the low profile mode of the L12S, which is a fair comparison in cases that are height restricted to that 70mm level

 If the cooler could be oriented so that the heat fins match the NR200's bottom to top airflow, I think it would perform the best out of all these coolers. Unfortunately, the design limitation makes this orientation only possible with the right motherboards. I'll discuss more on the importance of heat fin orientation in the conclusion and wrap up video. In spite of that, I do think this is a very competent cooler, and a huge plus is that you can run this in an orientation with absolutely no restriction on RAM height

Go for something like Noctua's L12S or BeQuiet Shadow Rock LP or Scythe Big Shuriken 3 with a 25mm thick 120mm fan. Thus, you get rid of the AIO tubes and the front 120mm fan can pull fresh air in, significantly improving the temps.

My trusty Silverstone-First build, just kept on upgrading over the last two years. Any advice on better cable management would be sick!
