 I doubt there's any easy math for finding FOV at the long end because the zoom optics add complexity that will interact with FOV.

I own a Nikon 10-22x50. It has an angular FOV of 3.8 degrees at 10x magnification. But it doesn't specify the FOV at 22x. It's not specified anywhere in the internet too. Is there a way to calculate the FOV at high magnification for zoom binoculars?

 But when you're at the full 22 power on these binoculars, sighting in, if you've got like a shoot and see target or something and you're sighting in your rifle, you can see it clear as day with these. Now 200, 300, you know, you're probably not going to have the clarity that you want from these binoculars. I mean, they are budget friendly, but I'm very happy with, again, how they've worked for me in the past and I've recently been using these. No complaints

 And today I'm going to be talking about these Nikon Aculon 10-22x50 binoculars.

 So anyone who watched a previous video of mine where I reviewed my Vortex Diamondback

 binoculars, I had a pair of these that previously broke.

 Now I just received a brand new pair for free thanks to Nikon's warranty.

 I really underestimated what they were willing to do for me because on their website they

 stress you need proof of purchase, which most companies obviously stress that, right?

 Well the reason I purchased a pair of Vortex binoculars after my Nikon's broke is because

 You don't need a proof of purchase and if it breaks or something they'll either repair

 it or replace it, no questions asked, and again you don't need a receipt.

 Well someone on that video, one of my awesome subscribers, and I say thank you for commenting

 and letting me know about this, they said you should email Nikon.

 And they responded back saying please send them in.

 I did it, no questions asked, they didn't need a receipt, and after it took a while.

 It was probably like a month and a half it took to get these back, but I got a brand

 So I am so grateful for my subscriber who commented and then also to Nikon for well

 So I'm happy to review these because I really did like my last pair.

 What broke is the zoom feature that it has.

 You can see right here, you can just twist that in for your 10 to 22 power, which is

 But that shattered internally and I did not know how to fix that.

 So very, very, very happy to have these back because for short range, such as when I'm

 sighting in a rifle at 100 yards, I don't need an expensive spotting scope.

 Now the great feature is, I didn't have this before, is it comes, they come with a tripod

 adapter, which you really need to steady these out when you're like in full zoom.

 But when you're at the full 22 power on these binoculars, sighting in, if you've got like

 a shoot and see target or something and you're sighting in your rifle, you can see it clear

 Now 200, 300, you know, you're probably not going to have the clarity that you want from

 I mean, they are budget friendly, but I'm very happy with, again, how they've worked

 for me in the past and I've recently been using these.

 I really can't complain for how budget friendly it is.

 We're talking under $200 for a pair of binoculars that they work, they really do.

 And if this ever breaks again, I at least now know that Nikon does stand behind their

 So this is again, just a very simple review.

 I don't really have a way of showing you guys how they look at distance, but if you are

 looking for a pair of binoculars, especially with a zoom feature, these Nikon Aculons are

 actually probably a really good choice, in my opinion.

 Now yes, there's going to be better clarity and better options out there with other bigger

 name brands, but you're going to be paying for them, of course.

 But for what all you get, I mean, you get a lot of stuff that's just included in the

 But like I said, it comes with a tripod adapter, which is a great, great feature.

 They normally, like for other pair, like my Vortex, I had to spend 20 bucks for a tripod

 You got the lens protectors for the eyepiece and for the objective lens.

 So everything in the kit also, sorry, comes with a nice soft case just to protect them

 when you're, you know, traveling with them, what not.

 But yeah, I mean, in this case, so there's not much, like I said, I can really say more

 about them for just a budget friendly pair.
