MSI Raider GE76 12UHS vs Eluktronics MAG-15R

To be sure, our video rundown isn't very demanding; expect far shorter runtime if you decide to do some gaming. (Like all gaming laptops, the GE76 Raider is incapable of maximum gaming performance on battery, so be prepared to take its 280-watt AC adapter with you.)

So glad they came through with the fix. I changed the review from 2 stars to 4 stars because this is an excellent laptop, and the battery was my only issue with it. Now that it's fixed, its almost a perfect laptop.

So what are you paying all this money for? Frame rates. Pure, simple, raw frame rates.

I am not a computer buff, so I am unsure how to give a thorough spec-type review. This laptop's overall performance has been amazing when it comes to playing games. The battery life is AWESOME. However, the fans can sound pretty loud when you are full-on gaming

The Raider performed as well as it should have in the synthetic tests. Its real-world gaming scores are objectively good, too, but they're hard to differentiate from the Alienware's, and the Legion 7i's faster CPU and slightly higher-wattage GPU put it far out in front. The big MSI's 45-watt CPU likely limited its frame rates in Rainbow Six Siege at low settings, where I was hoping to make full use of its 360Hz display.

the build quality was solid, it was lighter but more solid than my GS65, and everything else was just better. I loaded into a game and just couldn’t believe the temps, GPU and CPU hovering around 65C under load, how is that even possible?!?!? The 1660ti was pushing more frames than my MSI’s 2060! I easily overclocked it to 1950mhz without even hitting the 75C mark..
