 First the fans... I didn't use the MSI fans (i've heard they can be noisy, and I have no clue why MSI didn't opt for better fans in this thing)

 The refresh rate of this thing is horrific. Like 2 frames per second? Maybe 3? It's just choppy looking if you use one of the animated pictures. I'm not sure if I can make my own animations yet. I'll be trying, but it only supports 

A cute novelty, that is a letdown.

 With regards to their noise efficient performance it is good to see rubber dampers on each corner that really should help isolate some of those vibrations. With that said I did expect a bigger improvement versus some of the 360 mm competitors particularly when the other 60 mm fan equipped ACETech built unit ACES' ROG Ryogen 2 360 offers so much better VRM cooling. Either way we don't have complaints with the incidental VRM cooling from MSI's unit it's just that the noise penalty of the water block fan is probably not worth as much performance gain as we'd have liked. To summarize all-out noise balanced cooling performance from the MSI MEG Core Liquid S360 is good, it's strong

 The supplementary water block fan on MSI's all-in-one liquid cooler seems to be of little importance when balanced against its additional noise output but with that said it did have a small benefit on the VRM thermal performance in our test system and depending on your test hardware your motherboard your M.2 SSD it may provide a bigger benefit. Cooling control through the MSI center software is generally good albeit with some minor limitations as usual though Corsair really has set the standard when it comes to software with IQ and it is difficult for MSI to compete with that fully fledged mature ecosystem. Of course some of the cheaper 360mm all-in-one liquid coolers will outshine MSI's MEG Core Liquid S360 from a value biased cooling performance perspective but they don't offer the screen or water block fan or dedicated software control that some buyers may be looking for so there's that

 Overall I think MSI has done a reasonable job with the MEG Core Liquid S360 all-in-one liquid cooler. Noise efficient cooling performance is good, the screen works well and the 60mm water block fan offers some flexibility depending on your test system. There is stiff competition in this market notably from Corsair's H150i Elite LCD which is roughly the same price but has some benefits. With that said I think MSI does enough to make this cooler worthy of consideration

 I'm actually expecting a lot from these fans. This is actually the hydro bearing compared to the ball bearing. Their working conditions a little bit different, but the performance wise, it should be the same. And we also have some of the promotion cards and this is the installation guide

 There's like three lined up, and this one's the top one, and I think during the second half of last year, they also released their liquid cooling products for their E-Series and A-Series of liquid cooling products. It's generating noises, it's increasing the cost, it's doing nothing for your VRAM and also for your entire motherboard. And the last thing is that I feel like the last thing is also the one that I have talked about earlier, that there is no improvement

This AIO Needs More Work! - MSI MEG S360 All-in-One Liquid Cooler Unboxing and Review

 Now they sent this over to me for review. It's not sponsored or anything. They just wanted me to check it out and tell you guys what I thought. And I am running an Alder Lake Intel build, which is known to run very hot, so I figured this would be a nice little addition to add a bit more cooling performance and some more style points because this cooler actually features a freaking LCD screen on it that lets you display a multitude of cool things on it

BEST AIO Water Cooler 2022!? | MSI MEG Coreliquid s360 AIO Review & Performance Test

 I put this cooler on a Ryzen 9 7950x (socket AM5). It keeps the CPU amazingly cool, with minimum fan noise. It's actually kind of funny, because when I am doing something that stresses the CPU, I can hear the fans spin up, but when I stop stressing the CPU they spin down within about 5 seconds. I take that as a testament to how well they carry heat away from the CPU

 Not good.  Overall, I give it a 5 for the cooler itself, a 0 for the documentation and ease of installation, and a 2 for the cables. Call it a 3 overall. I hate to be so stingy with the stars, but IMO MSI needs people to downrate them or they won't fix the documentation problem

 But then with the Kraken we get twice the warranty so paying about 5000 rupees more or 60 US dollars more for a two weeks warranty does sound more valuable to me personally. I emphasized on the word personally because I know a lot of people won't agree with me but that is if I'm going for an expensive display pump AIO like these. Because performance wise they are anyway quite close to each other with actually many other offerings that cost half the price but of course with no display slabbed on the pump. So will I be recommending this AIO over the NZXT if you absolutely want a liquid cooler with a display over it? Well clearly this math is very subjective as the poles here represent quite a balanced result

 I mean, still fans don't make any noise. And as per my hearing observation, these fans are one of the most silent fans I have tested recently on any of the 360mm AIOs I have reviewed. So I have to give them the credit for pairing up one of the best fans from their catalog on this AIO. These are solid high performance fans and are already quite expensive

 So pretty sure MSI chose to not implement any sort of RGB here to keep the cost as low as possible. Still, that pricing is kind of an ouch. And these fans do have noise damping rubber pads across its corners. Because this AIO has been through a few of the reviewers, some of the fans on the radiator had vents on them

The Noctua NH-C14S was noise-normalised to 35dB(A) = 80% fan speed at 50cm distance from noise source (fan). There are no power limits on either CPU (both CPU are free to draw as much wattage as needed). CPU coolers have been cross-verified with other coolers to rule out mounting issues.

 You've only got about 40 millimeters, so good looking in the case. Really, really easy to install both of these Noctua coolers, the 15S and the 14S. Now getting a look at the performance of the NH-C14S, 4770K stock settings. Obviously not going to make any of these coolers winch

 Now, for the longest time, the NH-14 has been the go-to as far as top-down coolers. It has always been the top-of-the-line performance, enthusiast top-down cooler. So if you're building something with smaller form factor or whatnot, it was always the go-to piece. Now, it did have one little issue, though, in that on micro ATX motherboards, it interfered with the first PCI express slot

 That also gives you 70 millimeters of RAM clearance, if that is a concern, under the cooler when it's mounted. NFA-14 fan, 1500 RPM, 14 inch or 140 millimeter fan, I should say, 1500 RPM, 24.6 TBA. So you get, you know, the good Noctua fan, nice, silent, smooth sounding, delivers a lot, a lot of airflow

 Now, when you take a look at the NH-14S, it is exactly the same piece as the NH-14 with one little difference. And you can see it right here in the front, offset design for PCI express clearance. Now, it doesn't always apply just to ITX boards. You do have a lot of PCI express slots that are getting kind of close to the CPU sockets these days

Noctua NH C14S High Compatibility CPU Cooler Overview, Installation and Benchmarks

 From here on both platforms remove the fan of the cooler, splash some thermal paste onto your CPU and then slap the enormous heatsink on top of that and screw it down through the holes in the heatsink. Now at this point we can install the fan and doing this will have a huge impact on hardware compatibility. By default Noctua usually portrays the cooler as having the fan mounted on top of it. And this is the so called high clearance mode

 Now with all of these modes out of the way let's go to the actually important part of this review. Benchmarks. Upon summoning the devil on the 3900X the C14S managed to cool it down to 57°C above ambient. That's solid 6°C better than the smaller L12S

 For an Intel CPU we need to take the provided Intel backplate and shove the Intel screws through the holes and fix them on the other side using the plastic washers. And make sure to click the screws into the outer hole for LGA1700 and the inner ones for everything else. From here position the backplate behind the motherboard, take the spacers, blue for LGA1700 and black for everything else and position them onto the outsticking piece of screw. From here we need to position the mounting brackets in an outward pointing position with the screw end pointing upwards and then just make sure that both sides are symmetrically positioned and then screw everything down using the nuts

 This is meant for people that really want to use this monster of a cooler but can't afford the height. This will just mean that the overhang will be on the VRM heatsink side and this will either just not work or you have really good VRM heatsinks on there and oh yeah and the pipes will also probably hit your RAM so just no you can't install it in all four directions. Now with all of these modes out of the way let's go to the actually important part of this review. Benchmarks

Noctua NH-C14s Review - Noctua's C-Shaped Monster

  Sound: I'm still running with the chassis sitting on the top of my desk (facing backwards), and sounds from the heat sink are non-existent. A slow ceiling fan in the office is the loudest item there.

 The core v21 height is tall enough to handle this heat sink easily, even with two 140mm case fans connected to the top of the case.  Thermal performance: I haven't run intensive cpu tasks or overclocking yet, but a 2-hour gaming session never sent the cpu temps above 45C. While the heat sink is responsible for that, the thermaltake core v21 is amazing with airflow, and my GPU running full force never went above 58C. Definitely room for some overclocking if I ever feel CPU limited

 2) The video card's back is VERY close to interfering with the heat sink. It makes it, but there are only a couple millimeters (maybe 1/8th inch) separation between the two. The core v21 height is tall enough to handle this heat sink easily, even with two 140mm case fans connected to the top of the case.  Thermal performance: I haven't run intensive cpu tasks or overclocking yet, but a 2-hour gaming session never sent the cpu temps above 45C

Excellent cooling, tricky to install

 Plus the cooler really looks AWESOME in my case.  **** I want to buy another one to display on a shelf in my office!!! ****

  I had started noticing the fan on the stock cooler, which I had set to run at normal speed per the motherboard (around 2000 rpm). It has that characteristic small fan whine. That was keeping the CPU at around 60c when running intensive games. I tried setting the fan to quiet (1000rpm) which helped, and did notice the CPU temps ramping up into the high 60c range, so I reset the fan back to 2k

Good experience cooling a z370 coffee lake cpu.

 Not sure what the most efficient cooling position is and Noctua instructions did no say but they did note the upper position is the more quiet position besides including two extra fan wire holders if you want to run two fans in both mounting positions (and noted to use the throttle cable on the upper fan in that configuration). The setup is large but horizontal and would clear everything in my case even if using two fans. Upper PCIe slot is available with the setup. Memory sticks nearer the heat pipes can be removed without much trouble

 Fan only maxed to 976rpm but I never heard it during the quick test. Entire system spiked once to 95watts but CPUs drew no more than 40watts during the test.  Anyway, you get the idea and I get the silence I always dreamed about with a computer chip that is in the middle of the road for heat production (this model normally runs cool even if overclocked 4g+).  Noctua literature says this newer model 'S' was tweaked to clear an upper PCIe slot and memory size conflicts plus made this design more efficient with the use of only one fan albeit a larger 140mm, works for me

  At 500rpm for my AMD 65watt-TDP 'A' Series 4 cores + 8 graphic cores CPU/APU chip, this cooling system keeps it running 20c or less above ambient.temperature and does it silently and I mean silently. When I set the rpm to 1500rpm it will sound a noticeable 'whirr' and at the same time created a breeze outside my mid tower case (I kid you not). At this speed the chip temperature is about the same at idle when running at 500rpm

Did I Tell You It Is Quiet?

 Each portion of the cooler (CPU adapter, cooler itself, thermal paste, etc) were in separate boxes that fit exactly in the main box. Everything was kept safe during shipping so no bent or damaged fins.  I can say enough about the quality and ease of installation on this cooler. Definitely a top notch product I would buy again if I needed another cooler
