I was very disappointed when this knife arrived, I had always heard good things about Not a knives, but this one wasn't very sharp when it arrived and the tip of the blade was messed up. I suppose for the price it was fine but it didn't come in in great shape. I have since sharpened the knife and ground the tip, it tooke an edge well. I like the shape of the blade and I think it will make a good utility/camp knife I just don't think out of the box it is deserving of the praise moras get

 For the price, the sheath is fine, and Mora designed it slightly better than the companions.  Lastly, I looove the little short, yet wide blade.

REALLY GOOD ECONOMICAL KNIFE

 The plastic sheath, on the other hand, is Moras best yet. The knife fits and retains well, sheath is solidly built, and has an excellent belt clip. Less functional is the belt loop option, which seems poorly placed and an afterthought. The button clip has been upgraded it seems, but that's not how I roll, so I cant say if it works

 The Pro C grip feels a little too bulky and overwrought. The choil at the base is pointless, sometimes it gets in the way. The finger guard is fine, and was part of what I wanted for my own purposes, but this same blade minus the guard would be more generally useful. Mine has a noteable gap between the blade and the hilt--nothing a bead of glue wont seal up, but left alone it will eventually get jammed with dirt/wood shavings/food/whatever

 Overall, the Companion is a better knife, but the Pro C is still a great tool with a blade geometry not found on other Moras. I use my Companion for general farm work, but I wanted a finger guard and a shorter, wider blade for messy, wet, fast paced work. The Pro C fits the bill, despite my grumbling about the new grip design, and will probably be my go-to blade this harvest season. For a sub $20 beat em up work knife, you cant go wrong

Good knife with some odd design choices

 YOU need to take care of the blade on this type of knife because it is carbon steel and will rust / discolor over time without oil or an oil / wax mix for blade care.  The reason I gave it four stars is after a little research I discovered that this is basically the same as the Craftline basic, the only difference being the color of the handle. If you're looking to get a Craftline mora, get the basic if you want the carbon blade, it's basically the same and it's cheaper. Overall though I'm very happy with this purchase!

 So the uh i'll give a couple details on the configurations of these, because it can be kind of confusing and it was fairly confusing for me when i first got these in and i was looking at um, i was looking at kind of the the box designations And whatnot, so both of these are drifts um. So this is obviously the g10 version down here and then this is the titanium version up here. The titanium version comes in a couple, different configurations um, so you have a stonewash finish on the the blade or the the handle right here. As you can see, i think they also have like a knurled finish here

So this is the satin blade and then on the g10 version here, which is the orange g10

 So for starters, i'm going to flip this over and you can take a look at the pocket clip here now. This reminds me a lot of the spyderco wire clip because they look almost identical with a few few differences, but it's excellent. I mean the you know it there's not much to it, it's very basic, but it works, and i think it holds very well. I like a deep, carry clip on something like this

 They improved the opening here, they've gone from that hole which was fine um, which was designed to kind of flick out with your index finger to a thumb, stud that is ambidextrous here, which is just oh yeah, that's good. That is a really really nice thumb. Stud opening i uh it's great - they strengthened up to the tent. This opens beautifully reliably

 Now i don't have one of the originals around anymore, that ended up being a knife that didn't stick around for the reason we'll talk about a little bit later, but and that was a knife that was really really good, but also really really frustrating, because it was So so excellent in so many ways, but then the opening was a problem because it had a hole that made it. Oh, that was okay for a flick opening, but the tent wasn't strong enough to make that a thing. So it was a knife that was really really good at every time, except the opening uh and the deployment on. It, though, was just not very good, and so it felt like a shot out of the pocket bounced off a light pole and landed in the stands right, not amazing, at all um
