 So you're looking at about 16 square feet per vestibule. so actually quite large vestibule areas for tents, coolers, whatever you got you want to throw in there. you have plenty of room has for tent poles - for the main main part of the tent and then the other two are the halo poles that pull the sidewalls out with nice high-quality lightweight aluminum poles. but they're They are fairly large

 flip through the door. I Mean obviously that is one heck of a nice feature a large tent makes cleaning reason. So with that said, that's our review. I Hope you enjoyed it

 It's going to be multi activity sort of thing but it has the has the features and construction is some of the nicer you know, backpacking or you know, entry-level mountaineering tent. So if you're looking for a good quality tent or the whole family for the weekend getaway, Marmots got a good got it going on. There's not a whole lot of tents in the six-person market when you're talking about a leased and affordable high-quality tent. Most of one's out there or the standard Coleman and other ones you can get at a lot of the department stores around the area

 If you watch some video when you're actually pushing the tent up for the first time, you got to kind of pull those sleeves along with it. otherwise it tends to kink on you. but I think that's probably where a good possibility of people bending poles there. but that's just goes hand in hand with the sleeves if you know

Marmot Halo 6P Setup & Review

Instant up tents suck and have bad reviews for a reason. They are heavy, have huge pack sizes and lack mesh walls for breathability. Most are also single walls and have condensation problems. Looking for an instant tent with at least 8’ sides for car camping

Big Agnes Bunk House 4p or 6p. Of the requirements you list the Marmot Halo 6p or the Big Agnes Bunk House fit.

I am getting overwhelmed with all the bells and whistles of tents: **type of poles, double lined, footprint**...

I have had 2 person Coleman Tents as well a 2 person unknown brand tent I had for years. I liked Coleman but would like something a **little more hardy** to combat the 90s-100 degree summer heat and 40 degree nights and winds. (my Coleman got tore up with 15mpr winds). I **exclusively do car-camping** and have only camped Spring, Summer, Fall (to October). I live and camp in **California.**  I need a larger tent, so I can maybe put a chair inside.

**Here is what I need:**

a **3-4 person tent** preferably **light weigh or compact that I can stand up in. I** am only 5 ft. tall. I often **car-pool with my sister so compactness is a positive.** Besides, we vowed to downsize on our equipment. As I camp in Meetup groups, **privacy would be nice. Oh just saw the 8' requirement. The Marmot Torreya 6p, Bjg Agnes Bunk House 6p and Nemo Wagontop 6p would closely met this requirement.

Bunk House 6 vs Torreya 6

High peak height, simple design and doormat are nice touches. Peak height is 80". I would consider the Marmot Halo 6p or the Marmot Torreya 6p and the Nemo Wagontop 6p or 8p as well in your search. The Marmot  Limestone 8p would also be a solid buy if you need more space for people or gear, but the peak height is lowered to 77"

What do you think of the Big Agnes Bunk House 6 for car camping? Thinking it may be good @ 20% off.

The Halo will be the most storm worthy of the 3, provides the largest vestibules and provides the best privacy since the front door can be zippered up with a full solid door. Many other family camping tents have either a mesh only front door or a hybrid door. Solid doors also provide better protection from the wind in crappy weather too. I have the Marmot Halo 6p

Also site selection is important. If you can pitch this between trees rather than in the open that will be better. This will have the trees act as wind screens and should provide some more protection. If you need a family camping tent in the wind then I would suggest something more storm worthy like the REI Base Camp 6p, Marmot Halo 6p, Big Agnes Mad House, Sierra Designs Nomad, MSR Habbitude etc

I want bug protection and rain protection because I don't like bugs (f ticks) and sleeping out gives me the creeps sometimes, so not really into the tarp and bivy. It seems to me like the Zpacks Duplex (occasionally bring my wife or a friend) would be a good option, being 19oz and having bug and rain protection integrated (not a tarp or bivy system, so it's simpler i.e. one piece)

Gossamer The Two vs. Zpacks Duplex

 One of the biggest benefits to the Dynamo material is that it's waterproof. This tent is 100 waterproof. I've never had any sort of leaking. I've had no issues

 You don't have to worry about the coatings aging and having to be reapplied. There's very little here with this tint that's going to age and that's not the case with copycat versions of this tent. I know that I've said a lot in regards to this tent, so let me wrap this up. in the end: this is a very impressive tint
