 I wouldn't be surprised if the opposite happened, which the brightness dropping to prevent overheating after a while, but this makes no sense. It happens even if I am not touching it, so it's not a switch or contact issue (the switch feels good and I never have weird behavior when intentionally switching modes). I had it sitting on the edge of the table in a low mode to illuminate something I was working on, and then BOOM it goes up. It's really bad when I am trying to use it at low power for looking at stuff up close and it flashes my eyeballs

 First of all, Manker has quickly become one of my favorite flashlight makers, I own more Manker than I do Nitecore, Lumintop, Olight, etc and their build quality, features, and value are among the best out there. In the neutral warm tint, its got really nice color reproduction, but its not too amber or yellowish like some Neutral whites can be. If you are comparing this to other 2 AA lights like the Nitecore MT2A basically it boils down to this. The Manker is technically brighter, but the Nitecore has a further throw (about 50% more)

 It'S not inexpensive like something again like this, but it's not so uh expensive that it's you know um prohibitive uh. If you are someone who likes knives, you know if you're watching my channel consistently, probably like knives uh - and you know sixty dollars or forty five dollars or in around the same range as a budget knife. Now there are less expensive knives and there are certainly less expensive flashlights that are good um, but i think that this is um, a really good entry into enthusiast higher end flashlights without going over a hundred dollars. Basically so i hope you've enjoyed this video like i said i am not an expert, but i do really enjoy flashlights

 So it basically shows you how much battery you know life. You have left, and i will also put a diagram for that, showing the different colors and what they mean here, because i can never remember all of it started to have like a kind of intuitive idea of how much is left. I think this is like getting towards halfway left on the battery with this blue and green leds happening at the same time, but i'll put the the diagram up there. So you can see that and i think that's a really cool option because it gives you the ability to have an idea of how much battery you have left and then there are things like candle mode

The msrd4v2 is capable of some pretty awe inspiring output for such a small light, with my sst20 version, putting out just over 3300 lumens on turbo, considering the size of this thing and the emitters used. That is a pretty awesome amount of light

 Hank will also provide any of these options in a mule version, which is essentially a bare pcb with eight leds instead of four and which lacks optics to provide an even flood light. If you want maximum performance, then certainly purchase the crete xbl high emitters, they will provide over 4 300 lumens of output with a decent amount of throw and have very clean white beams. The normal ssd20s will provide close to the same output without the extra costs but have low cri and poor coloration. So i'd probably skip them
