 I had not Sim raced in a couple of years, and needed a Wheel. After being suckered and trying to get a cheapy that would do the job I bit the bullet and got a G29. This review is more about Logitech than the Wheel itself. Let me state now that I'm a guy that set up Thrustmaster and Ch Products HOTAS' for others back on 98' systems and beyond, so I'm no stranger to setting up peripherals

 If you want to plug-in and un-plug and hang out with the cool kids this is wheel enough and will do that well If you are building a dedicated racing setup and want to BE one of the cool kids go Thrustmaster (if I where building a dedicated Racing Seat setup I would Thrustmaster it).

  The pedals are heavy enough to where they do not move around on a plastic mat, which I have set under my computer desk. The only time the pedals move is if I happen to jam on the brake or accelerator suddenly.  The pedals themselves feel great underneath your feet. Doesn't take a lot of force to even start braking or accelerating, but these settings can be adjusted in the thrustmaster control panel and in individual sim settings
