The TMX Pro has smoother force feedback due to its combination of gears and a belt in its force feedback mechanism but the flip side is that the quality of the materials feels a bit less premium than on the G923. I suspect the G923 would last longer if this is a "forever" wheel for you but I'd expect the TMX to be more than fine for at least three years.

Was torn between the Logitech G29 and the Thrustmaster TMX, but when I found the TMX on sale at Best Buy for $130 during Prime Day, I had to pull the trigger. Love the wheel so far, the pedals are a bit meh but I plan on replacing them with the T3PAs once those come down in price.

Let me just say that my virtual driving ability has increased 500% over a gamepad-type controller while using the TMX in driving games. That is, once I get it all set up correctly. I’d say anything with force feedback and a clutch pedal set would be your next upgrade (tmx pro or g29/g920) and maybe look into getting assetto corsa, otherwise good to have you in the community!
