 It'S a great starter wheel. If you're new to sim racing and wanting to give it a go without spending too much money, talk levels are good on here for a budget wheel, so a great option for kids price wise. It'S the cheapest force feedback wheel currently on the market in comparison to thrust masters belt, driven wheels and fanatex direct drive wheels, but just to note both thrustmaster and fanatec give a better force feedback experience as they don't use cogs or gears. And it's great to see the g209 works on the ps5, too negatives wise

 Racing foldable, sim frame and i've had no issues with mounting on any of these. It'S fine to use on a desk, but really for the best experience it's worth getting a sim frame, as it allows you to bolt on the accessories, avoiding a situation where it could potentially come off and in addition, it provides more of a sturdy area to gamer. Once mounted, it's definitely worth keeping the cables nice and tidy, so they don't get in your way. I generally use these velcro straps from envisioned as they're long enough to use against the sim frame too

 So really the dial is pretty much for looks on the wheel, it's not precise and you don't get a good feel of how much you're dialing up or down so is the g29 worth it well, if you're new to sim racing and want to give it a Try it's the perfect starter wheel coming in at the budget end of the market. So in my opinion i still feel it's worth it. So there you have it. Logitech G29 | Is it still worth it in 2022?

 It just sucks how you have to purchase it separately, especially for at this price point now move forward internally. The g27 has 900 degrees of range of motion, so it's pretty good. In terms of that, you have a dual force: feedback motors and the strength of it. I would describe as moderately intense it's very similar to the ones found in the g27 and you play a racing title, such as project cars, which is fully optimized for this hardware

 Now, in summary, i would have to say that the logitech g29 driving for steering wheel doesn't really exhibit a lot of disadvantages. In my opinion, the only kind of issues i have with it is the price point: the fact that it doesn't have the shifter knob included into the price and the fact of the compatibility issues, especially when you're taking a look at the uh small list of games. That are optimized natively for the g29. Now on the pc side, it's not that big of a deal at all

Now the logitech g29 driving force racing wheel is basically a wheel design for the new current generation console specifically, the g29 is made for the playstation 4 and the g920 is made for the xbox one. Now, of course, both wheels are compatible with the pc. Now at this point, i've spent a decent amount of time with the logitech g29 and i'm here to share my experiences, the good and the bad. So if you guys are interested in getting a new steering wheel for your playstation 4 or xbox, one or pc, we're going to see if the new logitech steering wheels are worth owning now, essentially, what the g29 is is a combination of the logitech driving force gt That was specifically designed on the playstation platform and the very popular g27 force feedback steering wheel now in a lot of ways

 Nine is somewhat competitive price and offers a solid experience with good force feedback. A good pedal set for the price. A solid construction, the wheel, has a good number of buttons that can be assigned. The brake pedal probably won't satisfy everyone, but I did like it, but for the price it's hard to have any better

 So if you're thinking of using this without a wheel, stand or a way to hard mount them, consider getting something that avoids the parallels to move or use it over a carpet. I'Ve tested the performance of the wheel in just a few titles, mainly erasing assetto corsa and a set of course --. I Competizione a generally. I can say that the performance of this combo is more than acceptable in all departments, especially considering the price tag

 The g29 is in a tricky place in the market if you get it at a lower price range of 100 pounds, two hundred fifty dollars, two hundred and thirty euros or thereabout, it competes directly with the t-150 pro which comes with the t-3 PA pedals at this Price point: none of them come with shifters. If you want to get it, add an x-ray 30 to 40 of your dollars euros or pounds, and it will give you access to that shifter, while the trust master eco system requires closer to 100 for the th8 a. However, the t-150 is smoother and has better force feedback. If you choose to go cheaper

 In reality, most sim racers will sit on the lower ends of this spectrum, no matter how veteran they are, therefore, having the most bang for the buck becomes essential. Due to these budget restraints, there are plenty of cheap entry-level options with no first feedback, but oftentimes for just a little more. There can be far better options in all measurable benchmarks. One of these options is the one I'm going to talk about today, which is a Logitech G 29

Logitech G29 Driving Force review

  There is a full complement of buttons on the wheel including (bottom to top) a PS button, Options button and Share button below the center of the wheel. It may take some time to get used to; I’ve hit the share button while trying to pause the game during a practice session. That’s my only quibble. The rotary dial can be used to select the level while the +/- button changes what setting you’re manipulating during a race; you can remap the wheels buttons in the options menu

 but I’d planned on buying it eventually at the regular price. It’s smooth and quiet, precise and a great wheel. Worth every penny.  Now I just need a correct wheel stand! The X-Celerator(?) Big Boy stand I have worked for the DFP; the pedals on the G29 are way too big

New to the sim racing thing so I didn't want to spend thousands on it. Found this set up and figured I'd give it a go. Honestly, I've never tried a thousand dollar sim racing wheel.

 The clunk usually happens during situations like heavy countersteer (fighting against the force feedback).  Overall, the Logitech is a brilliant unit for $200. Though sometimes noisy, it breathes life into driving games with smile-inducing force feedback for a competitive price.

  Now for the not so great: -The wheel is smaller than an actual wheel which is disappointing given the good quality of the materials. -The aforementioned screech. -The gears clunk occasionally. It's not as loud as other people make it out to sound; I wouldn't say it's loud at all

 It is horribly annoying, but it seems to be going away finally. If I had bought in store, I'd probably try to swap, but its not so loud that I'd take the time to make a warranty claim. Outside of this issue, the unit seems very well built. I can bear the minor screech, and I'm confident in the reliability of the unit

Very Good Though Sometimes Noisy

 If you hit another car on the track, you can feel it through the steering. I’ve played Need for Speed Heat, NASCAR heat 5, Tony Stewart’s All American Racing, and F1 2020. NFS is just awesome with this wheel. It took me a bit to get the drifting down, but the wheel puts this game into a whole new level of awesome

  Right out of the box, loud squeaking sounds when you turn left, I googled the issue, and found pages upon pages on reddit, Logitech's forum, and youtube, talking about this exact issue. Logitech Customer support is absolutely useless. They have never acknowledged the problem, they haven't answered anyone's questions in the forum. They refuse to do anything about it

Logitech G920 vs. Thrustmaster TMX pro

 So This is the TMX Pro from Thrustmaster, this is my new stand, wheel and pedals, I have the shifter and everything, the handbrake coming soon. so soon I'll have an unboxing on that as well and sorry for my squeaky chair. So Let me go ahead and set the GoPro up and show y'all what's inside this box, But first thing that's on top of it is the pedals, the pedals that you get and you have the stand wheel and then this is just pretty much showing off the shifter which I am going to order soon. Thrustmaster TMX PRO Force Feedback Racing Wheel REVIEW! - UNBOXING

 So in the end what do I think about the Thrustmaster TMX Pro especially someone who came from the T100 which is long gone they don't make it anymore this is kind of its replacement not kind of I think it is its replacement but came from the T100 all the way up to now the TSPC racer how do I feel about this product well all in all I do got to say for the price this is absolutely awesome I believe I probably would have prolonged my upgrade if I would have started with this wheel before going to the Thrustmaster TX or you know T300 as a similar wheel probably would have prolonged it because my main grip with the T100 was the size of the rim which is this is the stock size of the Thrustmaster TX or the T300 rim it's maybe not as thick as those rims but it is a stock diameter and the T100 was quite small I think that was only a nine inch rim if I remember correctly another thing is this has 900 degrees of rotation whereas that was only 240 thirdly the paddle shifters are great they're not little plastic switches this is actually better paddle shifters than what comes stock on my 2013 Cadillac CTS-V these are actually decent paddles and then in this TMX Pro configuration what we're looking at here the pedals are actually pretty darn good I really like these T3PA pedals I kind of see what everyone's talking about as far as the conical brake mod and just how how smooth the pedals are although they're completely constructed of plastic they have a metal spring underneath that is lubricated and with some grease on it and it just feels it doesn't feel plasticy I was expecting the arms to feel very plasticy and I was expecting to feel maybe a little bit of grinding from the metal spring on the plastic but all in all this feels like a quality piece the force feedback on this can be quite strong you do feel some of the gearing in it especially when the force feedback gets up there a little bit and like I said before in situations of drifting it is slow to respond in the counter steer so you're not going to want this wheel unless you turn force feedback off I did not try that but you're not going to necessarily want this wheel for drifting scenarios and lastly because it is a plastic rim with rubber side grip extensions it does make your hands a bit sweaty so I definitely recommend some gloves and you could also feel the screw mounting holes that you know kind of piece the two sides of the wheels together through the rubber side grips extensions honestly while I was racing I didn't notice it literally I just noticed it now while I was talking and I was feeling my hands along the back but when you grip the wheel your hand doesn't really get annoyed or you don't really feel those holes but they are there so I have to tell you. So all in all I do got to say for this price point Thrustmaster hit it way out of the park this is a great entry wheel and I think it will serve people longer durations before they feel like they need an upgrade and what that does for Thrustmaster it kind of like pushes them towards the accessories like the TH8A which was not necessarily an option for me without getting the USB cable when I had my Thrustmaster T100 so hopefully this helps you in your buying decision I don't feel this is a replacement for a Thrustmaster TX or TS PC racer if you are looking budget minded what can you get to get you into it and you want to get away from the controller or you know console racing and you have a decent enough PC for PC sim racing I recommend this just make sure that you buy within your means and you buy at a level that you think is going to make you happy for a while because then I just want to segue into this you can spend more by spending less initially like I did I had the T100 and I knew I was going to want more and instead of buying the TX or the T300 initially like I thought I probably should have I ended up buying them anyway and selling my T100 used which is less than new even though these tend to hold their value pretty well surprisingly but just make sure if you are going to buy the TMX or think about how much time you are actually going to put into sim racing think about honestly how much you want to spend and make sure that if you are buying this you are comfortable with having it for a while because it probably will serve you for a few years without any issues don't buy it with the notion of I may upgrade if I like this because you are probably going to like this and then you are going to sell this used probably at a discount from what you bought it for and now you are buying a TX T300 or TS PC racer which would have saved you money in the long run so tip from someone that actually fell into that trap myself so I am Crash this RTA Motorsports definitely subscribe hit that like button it definitely helps me out greatly more than you know and as usual see you all next time.
