Lasko 18" Cyclone vs Lasko 3300 Wind Machine

We’re both addicted to having it on while we sleep. The remote feature is great for colder days when he wants to turn it off before leaving the warm bed. The fan has 3 speeds, the isolating feature & you can adjust the height. The lowest setting is pretty quiet

Works great, very strong air movement. I would buy again and refer this product to friends. Very sturdy, has hand strap on top making it easy to move and can be rotated up or down. Very happy with this product!

I was really surprised at how flimsy the parts were when I took it out of the box. The fan was easy to put together and didn't require any tools or strength, but there are no real fasteners anywhere so I'm afraid that it may fall apart when I pick it up or move it. It is indeed very powerful and pretty loud - the whole thing leans back when turned on high. Another important note - the fan base is pretty big (close to 2 feet wide), so it's like a piece of furniture in my bedroom

Placed on a level surface at lowest speed it is loud and the entire fan vibrates. On high it vibrates so much that you can hardly read "wind machine". Sleep with it, not likely. It's hard to tell how durable it is

The Wind Machine comes ready to use out of the box — plug it in and you’re set! I never thought I’d be this excited about a fan, and this might be heat-induced delirium talking, but I’m really pleased with my purchase. Haven’t yet had to try to clean the blades but will edit this review with an update should that prove to be a hassle. Mar 14, 2022: Just want to report that the fan is STILL performing like a champ (fingers crossed) despite heavy use and not as much maintenance as I should have done. My only gripe is that is a bit difficult to clean the blades since the front grille doesn't just snap off and on like some other models

The fan itself is all plastic and very cheap compared to the metal one it was replacing. The base is huge and takes up a ton of room. The remote is a tiny little thing with a bad design. Even looking at it you can't really tell what button controls what

What I don't like is that the controls are in the middle on the back. It's minor, but it's an inconvenience. It would be better if the controls were on the top where they are easily accessible

Overall I will have to say it does not seem very durable. After a few months of operation we will see how it holds up.

This fan is exactly what I was looking for!! I bought a Lasko fan last time, and I wanted to get another one since I've had good experiences with the brand. My room mate has the Lasko S18635, and I really like it, but I was bummed to see that I couldn't find it anywhere. I lot of the 18" pedestal fans on the site have 1 week shipping times, and I needed something fast and easy, and I could not be happier with this model for the amount of money I spent, and for the fact that it was available for next day delivery. Airflow is more important to me than having a super quiet fan

Cheap plastic and poorly made. Returned both immediately. Stay away from this item.
