 I don't want to use the remote. I want to control the speakers directly from my iPhone. I paired the remote only to turn off the excessive bass with the button on the remote. It took several trys to pair the remote with the speakers

 I have to be within about 30 feet of the speakers to avoid the music cutting out. If I'm about 40 feet or more away, even with an unobstructed line of sight between my speakers and the iPhone, the connection starts cutting out. For this reason downgrading to three stars.

Pros: Connected to my phone immediately. Zero problems with pairing to my phone Sound quality really good. No complaints. Plenty of speaker wire to set them as far apart as you'd like

 ____________________________________ Edit. After several days of using it, I've found that the bluetooth connection to my iPhone is very week.  Once I figured out how to connect the speakers, then one has to figure out the bluetooth. It appears, from the manual, that you can only connect other devices through cords hooked to your turntable or computer BUT after playing around and moving my turntable closer to speakers, I did get it to pair. (I don't have energy right now to see if I can pair on my computer) but.

The Kipsch people made this for people who know what they are doing. It's been years since I've had to set up speakers, and the manual gives no instructions at all (and neither does their website). Once I figured out how to connect the speakers, then one has to figure out the bluetooth. Beautiful sound but instructions are useless

 However, don't get me wrong, the Kef Ls50 Meta and the Kc 62 subwoofer combination still wins big time in terms of actual extension. The grip, the texture, the base impact is all very more evident on that combination, but for the fraction of the price, I was very impressed with this setup because the R51m without a subwoofer is about 70, maybe 75 of the experience that I get with the Kev speakers. Now, there is a downside, and the biggest downside I have with this setup is that the imaging is not as pinpoint. The imaging does suffer due to the horn design of the speaker And talking about the horn design, it uses the Tactrix horn, which Clips is very famously known for and it has the one inch aluminum diaphragm compression driver and anyone looking at a clip speaker these days will recognize this woofer is the 5

Hey guys, how's it going? Welcome back to the Channel! So today we're taking a look at the Klipsch R51m powered speakers. Now, before I used the Kev Ls50 Metals with the Kc62 subwoofer for my desktop setup and I said in my previous review of the Burson amplifier that this was one of the best near field setups I've ever experienced and that is still my main setup. Don't get me wrong, but at the fraction of the price which the R51m is at five hundred dollars compared to three thousand dollars of the Keflas 50 Meta combo, this really packs a big punch and I also found that this speaker is a little bit different from other Clips speakers and how it sounds, so we'll get into that.  I did use it a little bit and I wasn't a total fan of the bluetooth sound out of these speakers, so I skipped that for the most part this review. But it also has a sub out, which means that you can connect it to a separate subwoofer if you ever wish for more bass. Now, the bass is interesting because this speaker is rated from 68 Hertz to 21 kilohertz. so in that spec alone, the bass shouldn't be very full sounding or very deep, and the bass isn't really really deep as with my Kc62 subwoofer along with my Kef Ls50 Metas

 [Music] So right off the bat, this is a powered speaker, which means that it has Class D amplification built in 60 watts per channel, and it comes with variety of inputs in the back, including digital inputs like Usb, Optical, you name it. So connecting this to your computer or to your Tv, let's say it's a no-brainer Even your Ps5 or whatever you have it is extremely easy to connect to this in your set. All help is highly appreciated! I just bought a pair of speakers which is the triangle comete Ez and are looking for equipment to pair with them. I would like to be able to: Use them to watch TV, stream music from my phone, connect them to a turntable, as well as connect a pc or laptop to them to play flac files, I'm considering to maybe add other sources as well such as a cassette and reel to reel but it's not exeremly nessecary to connection to those.

As I'm quite new to audio I'm unsure what I need and how it all should be connected. Im looking into buying an amp where I'm in between the Cambridge audio axr100 or the iotavx sa3. In leaning towards the iota because I heard the Cambridge had some fan problems and making a irritating noise. If I go for the iota I can also later down the line get the pa3 to get more power. So an amp I know that you need.

Then for being able to stream music from my phone I thought I would need some kind of streamer. I was looking at the acrylic s50 Pro+.

The thing here is that I don't know these components should be connected. The amp of course first goes to the speakers. Then I would think that the optical port on the amp goes to the TV in order for it to get sound. Then I'm not sure how the acrylic streamer should be connected to the amp, is it via optical as well or? Since the iota only has one optical port doesn't it have enough for two optical outputs. Or can you connect it in another way?

Then how would a pc or laptop connect to these components to play music from that? Do I need some sort of separate dac or?

The turntable I assume I plug into the preouts on the amp if I don't have separate pre amp. But if I would have a separate preamp where would that be connected. Turntable > preamp >?

I'm also thinking of adding a sub later down the line. Would I just connect that to the sub out on the amp and it would work with all the different sources or?

The last thing is the cables that I will need in order to connect them all to each other. I know the speakers have bananaplugs to them, is that the case for the amp as well or? And also what cables do the other compents need in order for them to work with each other? 

As you see Im quite unsure how it all should be connected in order for it to work, if you could it would mean a lot for any help that is possible! 

I live in Europe(Sweden) if product recommendations is relevant.

I recently purchased a cassette tape deck. I have a little sound system setup in my living room that is currently just a turntable and some Audioengine speakers. I would like to be able to connect my tape deck and turntable to the same speakers without having to switch out cables every time I want to change inputs. 
I have been researching RCA signal switch boxes online and I have found several options, but I don’t know enough about how these boxes actually work to decide on what to buy. 

There are two brands I see on Amazon (although if someone knows some other one that is good I will definitely look into it): Dingsun and Gohifiaudio. 

The Dingsun switch is about $25, the Gohifiaudio switch is about $75. 

They technically do the same thing, but what I am wondering is: will cheaping out on this lead to a degradation in sound quality? or are these machines so simple that there can’t be too much of a difference between these products?

So I'm interested in upgrading my speakers as a bit of a housewarming gift for myself, and looking at OP I'm eyeing those Kali-LP6s as they aren't *way* too pricey. I've had a pair of Micca MB42Xs for the past few years and those have been fine enough for the living situation I had in the past where I couldn't have them up too high any way, but from what I read they were supposed to be surprisingly good for the price so what I'm wondering is how much of an improvement the Kalis are and if I should be eyeing something else instead (max budget for me is $400-500 for a pair).

Hi everyone. I have a pair of **Dali Rubicon 6** speakers and i'm looking for a stereo receiver that can match them well. Any recommendations?

I listen to rock, blues, jazz, i.e. mostly old music from 60-80s' (+ rarely some old school metal or modern music). I use both vinyl and streaming as source. Currently i have Rotel RB-1582mk2 + RC-1572... and they sound a bit harsh with my Dali, i want to have a more pleasant listening experience, i want to have a smoother sound. Also it's important to have a good sound at both lowand high listening volume.

Personally i'm starting to look towards Roksan K3, Roksan Caspian M2, Arcam HDA SA30 and Electrocompaniet ECI 80D , but dunno if they are good for my level of speakers. So any recommendations from Dali Rubicon 6 owners are welcome!

<p>I listen to rock, blues, jazz, i.e. mostly old music from 60-80s&#39; (+ rarely some old school metal or modern music). I use both vinyl and streaming as source. Currently i have Rotel RB-1582mk2 + RC-1572... and they sound a bit harsh with my Dali, i want to have a more pleasant listening experience, i want to have a smoother sound. Also it&#39;s important to have a good sound at both lowand high listening volume.</p>

<p>Personally i&#39;m starting to look towards Roksan K3, Roksan Caspian M2, Arcam HDA SA30 and Electrocompaniet ECI 80D , but dunno if they are good for my level of speakers. So any recommendations from Dali Rubicon 6 owners are welcome!</p>

**Requesting advice on whether to get better satellite speakers, in a sub-sub-optimal environment and with a sub-optimal setup.**

My garage is my home office/man-cave/pseudo-theater.  I found the **Denon AVR-S540BT** on sale a while back, and then went to my local second-hand/thrift store and picked up five random speakers to serve as my 5, and eventually found a deal on a **Monoprice 12in 150-Watt Powered Subwoofer** for my .1 (no plans currently to install a .2).  I was literally using speakers that had no business being connected to the receiver and so found my way into purchasing a **Klipsch R-25C** for my center speaker and a pair of **Klipsch R-41M**'s for my fronts (again, during a sale).  However, my satellites are still a pair of **Panasonic SB-AK 18**'s ($3 a pop at the secondhand store).  

I know almost nothing about watts, ohms, and how to assess if I've got appropriate parts assembled correctly.  My garage does not have ideal acoustics and I'm a renter, so none of this is hard mounted or even properly arranged.  I've got a wall of speakers where my projector is, so my sound is coming from behind me (my brother, who is much more of an audiophile, tells me this is "wrong" on many levels, which seems a reasonable assessment).  I do not have the space nor configuration nor the echo dampening pads to remedy most of this.  At this point, my audio is acceptable enough (to me) when streaming music, when playing video games, and watching movies, BUT, I'm open to the idea that there are better speakers for my satellites.

IF I were to buy better satellite speakers, what would my evaluation criteria be?  More or less ohm? (Panasonics are 6) More or less wattage?  (Panasonics are 100W).  Again, I know enough to know I don't know much and that's it.

You can probably infer that I'm not going to spend thousands, or even multiple hundreds, but I would be willing to budget up to $200 for the pair (if its a model that's more but occasionally drops below on a sale, I can wait).

Advice on satellites, specs, or how to better configure my setup would be greatly appreciated.

My setup right now is the Audio technica AT-LPW40WN turntable and the Triangle Elara LN01A shelf speakers. I wanted to ask what you think about my setup and if it is worth it to buy a separate phono pre amp, since I use the build in right now. Or are there other things I should upgrade first?

I have an Echo Plus that I’ve been using in my basement (unfished) for the last 2 years.

Hey everyone!  I am the "audio guy" between my friends, and one of them has asked me about an easy setup for his new house. I've already something in my mind but I know you can help me to figure out better options.

* **BUDGET**: 
   * Around 1500€ (1700$).
* **WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR**: 
   * I'm looking for a setup for a small living room. It doesn't have a proper acoustic treatment but there is not much reverb in it, even with two pretty big windows ([this](https://imgur.com/a/bnvYJzR) is where speakers would be, I know that's not optimal but it's the only place available in the living room).
   * ***Bookshelf speakers only*** and an optional subwoofer (if speakers lacks of bass). The main objective is to have a fairly diffuse sound in the room, there's not a sweet spot for listening.
   * Both active and passive speakers are welcome. Of course if the choice is on passive speakers an amp suggestion is appreciated (while remaining within the budget).
* **AUDIO CONTENT**: 
   * The main purpose of the system is listening to music. He doesn't care much about films. It should be good for low/mid music volume, I don't think he will crank it up a lot, so there's no need for a huge line array in the living room. 
   * Subwoofer is preferred to get deep bass even on low volume content.
* **CONNECTIVITY**:
   * It can be connected to phone, pc, tv, alexa stuff and (maybe in the future) to a turntable. So I would say bluetooth, aux, optical (not required but hey why not), RCA and other wired sources.

My personal option was the [Klipsch R-51PM](https://www.klipsch.com/products/r-51pm-powered-speakers-blk) with the [Klipsch R100SW](https://www.klipsch.com/products/r-100sw-subwoofer-blk-gnm) subwoofer, what do you think about it? Personally I won't buy active speakers, but I think that might be a practical solution to somebody who's not into this kind of things.

Hi everyone! 

I just purchased a record player and speakers for my significant other for Christmas and am having troubleshooting issues. 
I purchased the One by 1 Wireless turntable HiFi system with 36 watt speakers. 

The left speaker is quieter than the right by a considerable margin. I tried swapping the speakers, keeping the connections the same and that eliminated it being a speaker issue. Then I tried adjusting the anti-skate and the didn’t affect it noticeably. 

I’m not sure what I should be attempting next to check what the issue is? The connection is direct to the turntable with red and black wires to the speakers, with exposed metal that connects. 

Seriously, any guidance or help would be appreciated, I haven’t branched into this before. Thank you so so much!!!

One loud pop when I change songs unexpectedly. If the song ends and another starts there’s no issue, but if I interrupt the song and click next, a painfully loud pop, and then back to the glorious music. Any way to get rid of the pop? Worried about damaging the speakers and my hearing

I just received the JBL 530 bookshelf speakers. The sound quality has blown me away.

I am now looking at adding the 580 towers due to how pleasant these sound.

I would be running stereo 2 channel in front and only for music.

Do I use both channels on the amp at once and run the bookshelves with the towers or only one channel at a time?

Does running both mess up the soundstage/spacing or cause other concerns.
