I got some really good recs from yall on a PA speaker for live shows! Looking into the QSC Cp8s and love them but they are a little pricey… would these Bose S1 Pros be worth the $100 less? I know Bose has good sound but not sure the reviews on this PA speaker so any feedback would be amaZing 🤞

Not the best sounding speaker, but great for the price. I just tried a QSC CP8, returned it and kept my Yamahas. Actually didn't care as much for the CP8 sound. Oh, and I always heard "no highs, no lows, must be Bose".

Alto TS310 vs Yamaha DBR10

Tough little loud speakers. Bought a used QSC CP8, was not impressed. DBR10 is louder and sounded better for less money.

The CP8 is more powerful, very hard to beat the ratio size/power/price, they sound very good. It all depends on the features that is most important to you, but if I had the choice between the 2 of them for a PA, I would chose QSC .

Floor monitor recommendations

QSC CP8 fits you budget, sounds excellent, and gets loud enough. If it doesn’t get “louder than drums on stage” then you’re already experiencing permanent hearing damage from exposure to unsafe SPLs. I can carry two of them in the same box I used to transport one 10” wedge.

Sound good. EON One MK2 also can run on battery. If battery option is not needed, look at QSC CP8's. Loud, small, sound good.

A good powered monitor can easily replace a cab for the QC. I recommend the QSC K8, or CP8 for a more budget friendly model. They nice and small, but plenty powerful.
