KEF Q250c vs Klipsch RP-450C

I noticed my center channel was kind of dwarfed by these big mains. And I would run my center channel volume up maybe two to four dB higher than zero....

The most important thing is to have the room set up symmetrically. Placing some thick absorbent foam on the wall behind the couch could be very beneficial (242 panels from GIK). From KEF I’d recommend getting a pair of Q150s and a Q650C center (if you have room—I have a Q250C that just fits inside my media console). Then you can buy a pair of Q350s when you’re ready, use them as L and R, and move the Q150s to surround positions

Make sure you have room to fit it in your available space. I ended up placing my 55” Samsung screen on top of it and this was ideal for us.

. The KEF Q250c crushed all of them. The bass response is fast, tight, and thunderous! Mids is rich, full of depth and warm (good warm, not hollow!) Highs/treble is crystal clear, vocals are amazing and true to sound if that makes sense

Bass is still present even for 4" woofers, and they're very clear. I'd say they are almost exactly 2/3 of the 600m.

Not for heavy bass lovers unless you pair with a sub as I do or listen in a small room. Very inefficient so a decent powered amp is needed, I use it with a Sonos Amp 125wpc and the speakers sound great. The amp connects to my B&W PV1 sub and my Technics SL1500c turntable and blends into my Sonos system really well for whole house listening. Superb speakers if you can get a good deal on them

Haven't been able to properly test because I need a new AVR. The one I have outputs maybe 35 watts. Will test once I get a better AVR that outputs more watts
